Canada's Iconic Amusement Park opened its doors at West Edmonton Mall, and was known as Fantasyland, in 1983. It later became known as Galaxyland!
From Fantasy to Galaxy Part II: The Fantasy Turns Fantastic explores the parks expansion in 1985, and how it brought iconic rides like the Disco Dynamo, Fantasyland Lake, and of course, the Perilous Pendulum.
Learn about the largely-realized concept art and master plan, whose ambitious vision was largely built... even it if did leave out aspects that would have added to WEM's fantasy.

Thanks for bringing back my child hood memories. I didn't get to go often as I lived in the deep south east. But man I remember the whale, jumping water, squishing pennies and all the other wonderful attractions throughout in the late 80 and early 90. Thanks for making us 80 babies feeling old. Lol

There was that parachute Ride you Found I Spoke about on there you were able to find but it was gone in 1989. That was the ride that Frightened some kids
