if breckens alive, he'd either be a nightrunner or another pilgrim. I think it'd make sense for him to come back as a pilgrim since the DLC starts with aiden wandering the world again, and it'd be really interesting to see him on the same level as you. I think maybe you meet him early on in the DLC and he teaches you about crane, and then you both find crane later on as a sentient volatile. also another thing I was thinking, I think they definitely brought crane back especially since he's a sentient volatile they're probably not really gonna need roger craig smith as the voice actor... lol

Both ideas are sooo good. He's capable enough to be a Nightrunner cuz with so much strength and stamina he's probably strong enough to survive the first injection. And otherwise he can be a pilgrim like Spike but i'd be cool if Spike atleast mentioned him. I'd like to think he becomes a Nightrunner and helping as a way to cope with abandoning The Tower.

Brecken was definitely alive, atleast during the first game after Ferry station. In old town, after saving the kid of the dude that we gave gun to in the Tower(don't really remember his name) in that safezone where a guy with traumatized child sits(that guy was museum's curator or smth) you may find a woman, who will mention Crane saving the child and that Brecken(!) sent a messanger for him. That means he's definitely alive during the main campaign.

Tolga and Fatin are confirmed alive at the very least. I would love for Brecken and Lena to be alive and together, but it's unlikely that both of them would've made it out, though Spike's in his 70s and still kicking as a Pilgrim so who knows...

Yes tolga and fatin are confirmed alive because we had a conversation with them on radio plus they have wanted posters of them. Also they did escape harran unlike the other survivors.

i have a theory that berecken has scytsophrania from the blow since lena does say that hese injured more than he shows and we can see his mental health decrese thru the game and rapid mood swings and we see after on the ferry that he was nicer than before but after that in the following the letter was more depresing like he knew that his life is coming to an end i have little proof of him having scytso but he couldeve had depression or multy personalety syndrome from that injury

Crane couldn't. He was kept in a GRE lab(assuming the one from which virus broke out - Geneva, Switzerland) for a while which is confirmed by cut Waltz's line, which proves that he's most likely the sentient night hunter, or atleast is a sentient infected.

In my opinion, Lena and Alfie had to manage the survival of the Tower alone, they desperately waited for Kyle to return. Brecken, for his part, certainly managed to leave Harran, but the city was put in total quarantine and he never knew how to return there to save them. As the GRE stopped all Antizin landings and food rations decreased, they all died of starvation.

Tolga and Fatin die, if you do the side missions in the DLC the following you will eventually help them gather materials for a rocket train in exchange for a military decoder to open military grade caches. After you finish helping them for the last time they fire up the rocket train and smash into the barricade in the train tunnel at the bottom of "the following" map. They both die as you see scrap metal and other train parts sticking out from the wreckage. Crane pays his respects immediately, and he mentions their deaths to Jasir.

I see you didn't brought up the map "Old Town" , which could also have something related to it. In Old town there is that doctor , Dr.Zere , that has a pretty solid base. Maybe Brecken got Zere out and are somewhere in Old Town. Knowing the fact that the map is full of building that means they could be anywhere. So we guess that maybe they are still alive , which I do not think what's so ever. Because that place is full of zombies, not mentioning the volatiles. So that is what I could think of.

fun fact (maybe fact) (SPOILERS FOR THE FOLLOWING DL1 DLC) so the twins Fatin and Tolga, they are presumed dead. Because there is one mission where you help Tolga and Fatin make their "secret" project, which was a big rocket train/battering ram, and their mission was to crash through the train tunnel to i guess get out, but they crash and crane never gets to see them again. Either they did crash through and survived, or crashed and died.

Honestly, I searched for this. Just completed dying light. Returned to tower just to feel the total loneliness, no rahim, no jade, no zere, no Lena.. Tower was EMPTY!, "But hey! At least we still have Bracken!" went to check up on bracken in main room but he's not there in the whole tower. THen i came here just to end up heartbroken. Bracken went from a responsible person full of hopes and courage to a hopeless, depressed person counting his last days...

Well Ali I personally think brecken is still alive because spike didn’t arrive in viledor until Aiden left also if they were to hold out roughly a year after crane broke out they would see antizin being released again to the public as the virus spreads out of harran also the survivors left via a hole in the wall with spike so maybe brecken did leave through there and possibly being taken in by the gre for test but in the end it’s a personal theory and we won’t know until more news is out

I think it's time Dying Light had a proper sequel with Crane and Brecken. Forget the Following, forget DL2, I want more Crane and Dying Light!

@@BestGamerAli It's just so obvious at this point, that DL2 is never going to live up to the atmosphere, ambiance, of the original game. People talk cannon like this is a soap opera. It's a video game, and fans should get what they ask for (in my opinion), and not be misled or outright lied to about what they are spending what amounts to millions of dollars on some half baked unfinished over hyped crap. The film and T.V. industries are no better. Big media and big tech think they know what's best for us, but if true, why do they keep failing? Every franchise I can think of has been systematically destroyed right in front of it's fan base by these people who 'know better'. They suck, and so do we for letting them get away with it.
