In the end of DL2 you can see on computer screen (When Aiden tries to disable rocket launch) that there are like 170 millions of healthy people around the world, about 5 billions of dead and 3 billions of infected, so Villedor was not last city. Life finds a way.

Its the last city standing, but there are camps and such all over the world, even the devs said it, only 95% of the population (if i recall correctly) got wiped out, the rest are alive around the world

As I said before, Pilgrims travel for thousands of miles - and the chances of them building settlements in an abandoned Harran is VERY plausible. It would be relatively safe to live there since there's no radiation, as the nuke ending is not canon. We do not know what sorts of infected are in Harran, if any, since it's been so long. I think Harran is completely abandoned - if people like the Liquidator know about Crane, then they'll know about Harran. And maybe, just maybe, it could be inhabited by some survivors who were left behind and survived, or after it was declared an exclusion zone. Like hiding away in the tunnel systems. "Life finds a way" humanity is more resilient than you may think. Same goes for Dying Light's story - if Pilgrims, settlements are scattered across the world, then there is certainly places out there that are occupied by whatever factions, individuals, groups, to remain alive. Villedor is likely the only "city" left remaining, but that does not mean it is the only place where the last humans left alive are.

I really hope the last DLC for Dying Light 2 would be a Harran DLC where Aiden can go back to Harran and you'll see destroyed buildings and nature growing in the city, also the final boss could be Crane when he is a Night Hunter and just imagine Aiden as his Zombie mode fighting Crane as the Night Hunter!

I just watched onizombie about how dying light is more human focused instead of infected. After watching this vid, i believe an infected dlc set in harran would be perfect to change up the pace of DL2 and giving the infected much love and potentially answering questions of the fate of harran. i would actually like to see a harran dlc in dying light 2, where after or before the story, Aiden was sent to do courier work and had to travel to harran but during his time there, there was an anarchistic group (renegades or something new) and because of him entering the place, he was put into the conflict between survivors and the enemies, also the enemies would of locked off all exits or he was forced to do the courier work so he’d have to do something in order to leave.

The biggest thing I want to see is to see Aiden on his way after the ending where you leave by yourself and he travels to another city, not knowing there was a sentient volatile... Also Called "The Crane" and Aiden has to complete tasks for "The Crane" to reveal that it is indeed Kyle Crane. Just a strike something I would LOVE to see, I doubt they would just leave Crane for Aiden

DL1 is a masterpiece. Remember massive bridge in Harran so there where DL2 should begining we shoudd exploring area behind brigde where on horizont you can see another big area to explroe. Old town was the ground zero for the harran virus outbreak. It was where the first case of infection took place and when it went out of hands a wall was build around Old Town to prevent any infected from leaving the place. Also later many survivors left harran in search of a better place & thats how the infection was spread around the world. But like we all know that virus was later cured but GRE messed up again as explained in the intro of DL2
