That's called testicular torsion. I had that happen after a botched appendectomy. The hospital said it had nothing to do with the surgery and the swelling would go down (one of my nuts grew to the size of a golf ball) so I went to a different hospital and they said "yeah this thing doesn't look good. You need to have surgery now!" So they took it out. Now I have lone ranger I call The Death Star

@@ImSlippyToad I actually did have surgery. My mom didnt think I needed to go to the hospital, but I eventually convinced her. The doctors said that if I came any later I would've lost a nut. They put alot of morphine in me. Then they put me through anesthesia.

The I.V. thing happened to me. It was when I found out I was allergic to amoxicillin. They had to rush me to an E.R. to counter the reaction. This included an I.V, but the attending nurses couldn't find the vein, so they just kept sticking me until they got it. Traumatized me for life.

@@yourehereforthatarentyou The Shit thing is that it just happened again. I had to go in March because my gallbladder was fucked up. So, time comes to get the I.V. in me and I get hit with a double whammy of an attending that just got out of med school, who couldn't find the vein, and the try-hard veteran Doctor who found a glance of a vein, but had to force it to make it work. My room nurse who unhooked me said they call it a "deep bore" which meant it took longer to heal and was still sore for a while.
