I guess she makes a living, but she`s not yet on that superstar level like Cher, Tina Turner, Pink or Lady Gaga. That´s what I actually wanted to say. IMHO a better management could give a push to more, if she would like to join that game. And apart from that: your point of view - my point of view. 😎

@@masterofthetelecast You are correct in that she's a "musicians musician"--this is why Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, Slash, Buddy Guy all ask her to collaborate with them. And you are likewise correct in that she is far more talented and phenomenal than her level of fame would indicate. However, it is NOT her management that holds her back. Even though Beth is far more talented and far more interesting than any major mega star today (i.e, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, etc.), Beth will never achieve that level of fame for the following reasons: #1) She does NOT want to be a "superstar." In 1999 she broke out in the music industry and nearly died because of it. #2) She is firmly situated in the Blues Rock/Blues/Jazz & Singer Songwriter genres which are not in the same league in terms of money and popularity as Pop or Rock. Not even close. #3) She has serious mental challenges which require her to pay a lot of attention to her diet, physical health, and work schedule. #4) She on a small label (Mascot Label Group) because she can have complete musical freedom--if she wants to do a Gospel album tomorrow, her label would put it out. #5) While we all want her to be a superstar, she just wants to write songs and play music--and that exactly what she does.

I listened to this piece " Rather go blind" sung by Etta James, Tina Turner ,Beyoncè and others. Some were great Interpretations In live others in studio , in movies with choruses, with vocalists, with "tears" flowing from eyes with long eyelashes, all certainly with participation according to their soul, but I can say that, at least for me, Beth,especially the version at the Paradise in Amsterdam. with Joe Bonamassa at guitar ,really put a soul, through voice and gestures, which encompasses love, fear, jealousy, resentment, anger and, at the end you feel the sweetness and pain together asking not to be abandoned and, preferring to say that it would be better to go blind not to see the betrayal Love from Roma,Italy.
