I just saw her live in NYC last week!!! Beth Hart is without a doubt one of the very best vocalists I have ever seen/heard!!! I even saw her outside the theater before the concert…she was walking to her tour bus, and was gracious and friendly to all who were waiting to get in the venue. As well as being an absolutely outstanding artist, Beth Hart seems like a truly wonderful person. She is the real deal, and seems to get even better and more beautiful with age! God bless her. 🙏 Great documentary!

In a class ... All alone, cuz she sings from her experience with heart and SOUL.. and reaches into the depth of the people who share those heart felt broken dreams, recklessness, self destruction, and moments of redemption. My Blue's Queen.. the singer and artist of my shared broken life's story!! I too... "Leave the Light ON!!"

Good to see she got her act together and found her place in the world. The talent was always there but years ago I was wondering if she could ever overcome her alcohol- and drugs-issues. Looks like she did, with help of some great people around her. Now she can finally enjoy the success she deserves. Great documentary. She was incredibly open and honest and looks happy with herself. I’m glad for her.

One of the few times you can honestly say "I laughed, I cried, it was amazing." I write this smiling inside with still watery eyes. What an amazing talent, what an amazing woman. Her ability to recover and take control of her demons has been a gift to the world. I have been a fan of hers for decades, and it seems that her strength and support will allow for decades yet to come. We are so lucky to experience this woman's talent and her amazing character. She is simply one of the very best there is.

She is Diagnosed Bipolair, that’s why she can’t Sit still. On a Free Day she Writes 30 to 50 Songs in one Day. Sometimes she doubt herself, because of her diseaese. In the earlier Years she cuts herself whit a knife, or Very much everything she Got in her hands. Then she Married Scott Kuetzkov, almost 20 Years Ago. He calms her down, & he is Also her Tourmanager. They are Touring for about 18 Years in a Row. In between, she Made a lot of Records. That how she is become calm & more responsible. Now she have lot’s of succes, but she is still Touring a lot. That’s how they live, her Husband is also used to it. At one time he was going Home after a big argument, with Beth, it almost was over. Then she wrote Mechanical Heart for him, he came Back. She Made & Wrote 3 Albums in almost one Year, which came out in less then 2 & a Half Years. The Albums: Bang Bang Boom Boom, Her Very Personal Album: Better Then Home, & Fire On The Floor, bring them closer together again. Scott was the only one, who got the Song: Mechanical Heart before she puts it on Better then Home. She is Writing al these Songs and after that, she is gonna put it on different Albums. That’s the short Story of Beth Hart, who is still struccling with her disease. But it also bring the Best in her Above. She is a Great Singer/Songwriter, Play’s Piano, Acoustic Guitar & Acoustic Bass Guitar. &That Bass she calls it, Her Little Motherfucker, lol. She Can now live with her Bipolar Disease, because she controls it, also because of Her Husband Scott. I Hope she will make Music until she is Very Old. Because she is so Great & Deserves it.....

People with real heart... live to fight their own demon's... And what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger... She brings meaning to being "REAL" cuz she blesses us with the truths we all go through and puts her guts on the twisted reality and the paths of pain and self destruction that we all walk... And yes the truth drives back the darkness. She is a beautiful SOUL and a guttest bad ass blues singer. 💯 ⭐🔥🔥🔥

What she said at the end, about being brought to her knees, and the ego was so profound! When she said, that if she's hurting, and wants to drink, that she speaks truth, and the darkness flees! As she's been witness to, telling the truth always saves her from suffering alone and in the dark. I will have to use that one now! Very cool woman, and I JUST now found out who she is! How can you not love her?!

*I absolutely love how Beth just exudes so much feeling & passion when she sings. I think what makes that so noticable for me is that she's been singing most of these songs for years. Most singers kind of lose that passion & love for their music after having to sing something hundreds or thousands of times over the span of their career; it gets old, they're tired of it. Not Beth. When she sings she's giving so much of herself & she sounds as though she's singing it for the first time. Keep that fire going, @Beth. Leave that light on.* 💚 *On a side note, your proofreader isn't too observant, @Top2000. The description says your initial interview w/ Beth last month left "too many untold stories so we decided to look her up again". The thing is, the piece in December is the edited down version of this video so you didn't really "look her up again". Just thought I'd point that out.* 🤣

An arrow straight through the heart! Beth's story evoked some bittersweet emotions from memories long past. I fell in love with and dated a beautiful, sultry singer songwriter when I lived in Hollywood back in the late '80s. We lived together in shoddy, funky, rundown buildings in Hollywood. She was pursuing a career in music and I was trying to find my place in the world. Drugs and alcohol were a daily theme. One night we would make love on Hollywood building rooftops under LA starry skies, intoxicated with love, drugs and booze, the next morning we would be fighting, breaking whatever little furniture we had in our studio apartment, calling each other unspeakable names, and breaking-up for the nth time... until we finally found our separate ways apart from each other forever. Now she's a psychotherapist somewhere in Northern California and I'm a landlord in a 3rd world country across the globe. Funny how things turn out sometimes! Watching Beth recounting her struggles as a young artist in LA made feel like I'm looking at Holly's face once again, being completely enamored by her being and thinking this is the one I want walking by my side till the end of my journey. Fate would not have it so. Oh pooh!

So down to earth I’m bipolar as well and hate my ups and downs then crash...If you can live through it it definitely makes it a big game in your head of catch up😟😟😟 I admire you that you’ve probably touched so many hearts out there because mental illness is never really talked about it’s always been swept under the rug. Thank you for being you listening to your music just makes me feel just how lucky I am to have the life that I have been for granted but I have a roof over my head three beautiful granddaughters children my daughter that’s battling breast cancer that she’s beating up by the grace of God I’ve been blessed in so many other ways that my riches and gold are my family thank you again for sharing your wonderful beautiful fabulous music with us amen love you beth

First song I ever heard from Beth was Leaving the Light On. Gave me chills. So many years later and I still get them. I even got a tattoo of her. Just a brilliant singer, songwriter, musician. My idol on all levels.

She's one of the world's most praised blues singers. She worked with Bonamassa. She's good for 5 million dollars. Etc etc. She has done well. Underrated is not on the map.
