Can I just say...absolutely love to see two class pros being in awe of a track. Never felt the fun from you guys more. Love it1!

Love the content and videos been subbed for years. Don’t get me wrong it’s awful when not playing well. But think Mark just needs to appreciate where he is the lifestyle he has enjoy time with the people he’s playing with. Comes across short and constantly wining when it’s not going his way 🤷🏼♂️ could be a lot worse 😂

Gosh what a course. Thanks Mark and Dan, filming and playing must be quite hard. You. Both did well considering that and the weather .. thanks guys!,

No buggy and with Dan on mute makes this a tough shoot. But we loved it.

I imagine Dan’s tee shot on 15 is a lost ball in the summer when that rough grows in! Wind sure is causing you boys trouble. Must have been cool watching the PGA Championship after playing there.

Glad to see you guys finally made it here. Been a fan since the beginning waiting for these course vlogs, just wish the other muppets got to enjoy it. Cheers love the vids.

Nice that the Putting God had a little bit of a flurry at the end of that part... even if he was out of breath from traversing the bunker up to the green. A real grind in that wind bruhs... So hard... I can only imagine with that set up!!! I wonder though Mark if you knew the weather coming in... would you have changed your bag set up to deal with the wind more???

Would you reccomend buying a 'good' set of off the shelf irons or going to get fitted for the same cost but getting what's considered a lower quality set? On a budget and not sure what way to go
@l0u015 жыл бұрын
My suggestion would be to go and get fitted by a good club fitter or your favourite manufacturer for roughly 50 quid. Then buy a second hand set or a new set that is a few models old but matches the specs you were fit for. Unless you have crazy specs it should be fairly easy to find a set that matches your requirements

How good was Koepka's 63 on the first day of the tournament, love to see the pros having to grind it out.

As it turned out, that rough was quite a bit thicker wasn't it for the PGA? Didn't seem often the big boy pros went into it that it wasn't a BIG factor, seemed to be not too much of an issue for you guys (relatively!). Great vlogs
@mamiller19805 жыл бұрын
I'm a bit confused. Was this filmed prior to the PGA or after? Dan says they're setting up TV towers. Also the trees look like it's fall rather than spring.
@msalzberg49625 жыл бұрын
It was filmed two weeks before the PGA. The trees filled out a lot in that time.

Mark, hypothetical question here but what do you think yourself and dans handicap would be at the minute?
@MarkCrossfield5 жыл бұрын
Scratch or plus.
@MarkCrossfield5 жыл бұрын
This would of been a none qualifier. The ball was moving on the greens bruh. Not sure this makes sense or not but let me know if it doesn’t. 👍👍
@alexmarshall79095 жыл бұрын
Mark Crossfield no that makes sense, just wanted to have a rough gauge on where you feel your handicap would be as a comparison to myself (+1) if I were playing here. I’m from Scotland so never had the chance to play a course like Bethpage so really just wanted to see how difficult it really is. It’s that old question you hear all the time “ what would a scratch golfer shoot round here etc ) cheers

Is it me or are you guys hitting with totally difference swing compared what you do indoors? Looks like you are missing some speed...
@Cornwall18885 жыл бұрын
Juha Saarinen probably the difference between playing golf on a difficult course and smashing it into a piece of canvas 10ft away They’re really trying to find fairways and greens You also don’t hear the loud thud you get indoors
@russellfothergill90825 жыл бұрын
Fatigue will be playing a part too
@shrimpflea5 жыл бұрын
Totally different? No, it's you.
@jksaarinen5 жыл бұрын
No I ment swing, not sound. Actual swing seems slower compared to indoors, low energy would easiest to understand why.
@shrimpflea5 жыл бұрын
@@jksaarinen I know what you meant. Still not totally different speed. Maybe a little bit slower.

Great videos but I have a sneaky suspicion that Dan is giving you some holes and not making some of his shots on purpose??? Just saying it how I see it. He’s a good man

Who plays Bethpage and deliberately misses shots? Don’t see it. These guys want to shoot their best. Not like they’re guaranteed to ever play it again.

Ive been lucky enough to play the Black a good bunch of times. NEVER the same course. Wind, set up, humidity, time of day. If you are within physical reach, there is no need to play any other course. Complete jewel. And when you're walking off 18, you've earned that cold one.

You dont find it interesting to see these guys play and explain the extreme difficulties that Bethpage provides even for these two who are not bad goflers themselves? Doesn't always have to be fun and jokes imo. This series provides much insight on what tour players battle with every weekend.

@@magnusrimberg7645- interesting but not entertaining. Watching the pros last week at Bethpage was very similar until the back nine on Sunday. Sorry but I've just found this USA tour a bit boring and as a fully paid up member of the Lockey Army and Ray the sooner we see those guys back the better. Just my opinion though.
