It's *URDU* and they are *Pakistani* and even Bollywood songs are mostly written and polished with URDU words because the words are poetic. Extreme Indians try to say it's Hindi because they think Urdu is associated with the Mughal Empire and to Muslim. Awesome detailed reaction! This was reacted the way it was supposed to be. In almost every reaction video I have seen of this song, no one really seems to understand how good Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is. They don't really seem to know what it took for guys like Rahat to practice and master the art of singing. Guys like him spend hours everyday practicing and do not stop even after mastering it because they do not ever stop learning. There is a reason he is called Ustaad (Master). Good to see you guys understanding what exactly is happening here and giving props to the singers for it. It feels good to see someone appreciating and parsing other. Much love!

We have never seen one with such beauty as she Hers is the beauty of the sculptured idols of Ajanta Her beauty has bewitched our gaze Her beauty is an alluring song Her beauty is a heady fragrance Hers is the beauty of scented moonlight Hers is the beauty of a haunting melody Hers is the beauty of a blossoming garden Hers is the beauty of the first light of dawn Hers is the most exquisitely hewn beauty Warm and smooth as sandalwood Pure and delicate as marble It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! To look at her is to become spellbound Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved I don't know what enchantment your gaze wrought My heart became drawn to you irresistibly The bright dawn of my face, the dusky twilight of my tresses All that was mine is now devoted to you Your eyes met mine And ever since then a spell has been woven I feel that I have become beautiful Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Praise to her Creator! Her face is fresh as a flower Is it her face in its brilliance or is it the moon itself? Her face is sheer poetry Her face has the beauty of the lotus flower Her face is an artist's thought and also its translation Her face is both dream and realisation Her face is some magical tale Her face is both certainty and supposition Her face is like no other seen anywhere Splendidly luminous, dazzlingly radiant It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved It is impossible to describe that beautiful beloved Praise to her Creator! I am amazed how my Pakistani friends are suffering from identity crisis, I can absolutely understand they take pride in being Pakistani now as they have got a separate nation for themselves, but how can you differentiate music and language, this music was born in India with Ragas and SARGAMs and classical music is the base of it, also the language which is Urdu is a language of India which was formed in Uttar Pradesh ( U.P) of India by an amalgam of arabic/Persian and Hindi language (base Sanskrit), actually it's actual name is Hindustani/ Hindvi/ or Dehlvi, which got formed for the armies of that time. But due to communal differences between Muslims and Hindus the script to write that language became different, Muslims adopted Arabic/Persian script but Hindus adopted Devanagari script. But actually it's a common language of all religions of geographical area of old India as languages are geographical and not religious. Later on Pakistan formed and Pakistani govt. adopted an Indian language Urdu as their national language due to Muslim population adopting Persian/Arabic script for writing the Hindustani language. But they ignored the local geographical languages of that area which were Punjabi, Saraiki, Sindhi, Pashto etc. Urdu or Hindustani language was used in Persian/ Arabic script in Pakistan and was then loaded with more Arabic and Persian words. Similarly Hindi or Hindustani language got loaded with more Sanskrit words in it as it chose Devanagari script to write it. The music and language used in Pakistan is all Indian whether they accept that or not which is quite unfortunate as the people are in a dilemma as they are a different nation now carved out of India and they should take pride in being Pakistani and on their nation. But still the language Urdu is 80% Hindi cause of its Indian roots of Hindustani language and the music is the same Hindustani classical music.

The thing with Rahat is that you can practice all your life but you will never get that thick warm voice at higher notes. All guys singing this high would sound very thin and squeaky. And that's one reason what makes Rahat so special.
