SPOILER I mean, it wasn't exactly a great plan. They psychologically tortured a guy who is powerful enough to kill literal gods, and then didn't take into account his allies in Soul Society or the Exiles stepping in and stopping them.

Fun fact. Did you notice the opening changes along with the story? Ichigo's Fullbring is different according to how advanced it is in the plot and the characters at the very last shot change as well.

19:40 regardless of the fanservice gag is a nice scene for ichigo the dude hasnt had anyone pamper him like that since his mom died makes it all the worse tsukishima got to her too been waiting for that reaction 38:00 its one of the best panels in the whole manga also early in the arc in the manga you see ginjo have the subsitute pass( during my first read i just assumed it was a random close up of ichigo's pass but with the reveal later in the arc it become all the clearer

That's actually a good point, and it was more wholesome than my reaction gave it credit for. And I did notice his combat pass earlier but I actually had thought that he stole Ichigo's initially. But then the story about the shinigami that Tsukishima killed came out so I accepted that. When all along it was a subtle hint about who Ginjo was.

[359] Yeah, this truly shows Ichigo is losing himself, but this time not to a hollow but rather to the darker side of his humanity. For the first time (With a very villainous expression) he sought to kill the enemy, whereas in the past his goal has always been to protect people from the enemy. Another cool thing is that when Ginjo seeks confirmation on whether Ichigo would kill, Ichigo's answer is cut short...The manga in particular does a very good job of depicting Ichigo with the "wanting to kill" expressions. I mean that's what makes him a good villain IMO. I have always thought we rnt supposed to like or sympathize villain. When that happens they r not villains but more like broken people. A good villain is that which is like bad bad. But that's just my opinion.

@@SIDASOKA True, I do enjoy it when a villain is a truly twisted individual. But I also think some of the most interesting antagonists are the ones where you can see things from their perspective. Like Tosen and Starrk. I like a series that has a mix of both.

@@SIDASOKA Personally I like the broken person villains the most, it feels like they usually have a more grand goal than just indiscriminate murder, revenge or theft, though I suppose it did get a bit too over-used in Naruto

Bcoz if we approached Naruto with the protagonist being Obito or Madara we would support his view points right? N that's y I used a broken person. But a villain who is evil for being evil like for eg: Ainz from overlord, while he is protagonist in general bcoz we r following his story, he is actually the villain bcoz he is evil for evil sake. That's what I meant. I personally am of the opinion we rnt supposed to sympathize n feel any emotions for a "true villain", when we start sympathizing with a villain that to me just becomes "anti-hero" than an actual villain. But that's just my opinion. 😅

27:26 censorship fact: Ichigo cut off Tsukishima's entire arm. 37:50 I don't know why in the anime they drew that ugly face on Ginjo, in the manga he is smiling evilly but he doesn't look like an old man (although it is old). Tsukishima is very OP, one of the scariest skills for me. He made Ichigo want to kill someone for the first time. And they managed to break him 😭 they used his character motivation against him and it's terribly frustrating. But tsukishima memes being everywhere are still funny despite the years 😂

In a way these Xcution members as villains are far worse than Aizen ever was. Nobody else has fucked ichigo so hard, mentally, and emotionally as this. This would break most anyone to the point of a total shut down and giving up. This arc is amazing for his character development.
