@mr.goldie5513 жыл бұрын
@@petsobsession9249 because female will eat her egg and the male will protect the egg that's why you need to remove the female after laying egg so you're female and male will not fight also male betta will kill the female if you don't remove her..

This video reminds me of how beautiful life is. And how humanities effect on the earth is catastrophic. I’m just one man on a dirt planet living along 8 billion others just like me. And one day I think most life besides humans will be on the urge of extinction. So travel and explore while you still can. Make happy memories. And live a good life. Never throw away your time as once it’s gone, it’s gone.

I have one betta fish in a bowl. I don't know the gender of betta but he is making a bobble nest , what should I do
@ScissorsProduction9 ай бұрын
This comment was a year ago but here's some information 1. Bettas should not be kept in bowls (unless it's atleast a 5 gallon bowl or tank, no smaller especially if you're a beginner) 2. Bettas make bubble nest out of pure instincts so it is absolutely fine, this does *NOT* signal that they are in a good condition, even in horrible conditions they will still make it 3. Though females also sometimes do, mostly the males like to make it more or more often than females

This video really helped but I have found some little white circles in bubbles next to my fish filter in the tank and I didn't know if it was betta fish eggs but the conclusion I have come to is that where we got the fish from (the two bettas which we were told were females) may have got the gender wrong but I'm not sure. They both look the same though (like yours). Is there a way you can tell which gender they are?
@iLikeMyOwnPosts Жыл бұрын
You’ll probably never see this but I heard that one way to tell is that female will have a little white spot right between front fins on the belly. I was researching because it looked like my female laid eggs… but I thought they only do that when a male is present. Turns out, they do sometimes lay their eggs. Mine did not put them in a bubble nest tho… she just pushed a bunch out and they floated down.

@ScissorsProduction9 ай бұрын
I know this comment was a year ago, but for anyone who's wonderingly if the parents die after mating , espically the females because they become stunted which makes alot of people believe they do die The answer is no. Absolutely not. Both parents will be completely fine, I've bred Bettas a couple times and none of them died of breeding

Can female eat her eggs and fries?
@ScissorsProduction9 ай бұрын
This comment was a year ago but here's some information: She will take care of the eggs and will help the male put em in the bubble nest. However after a bit she will eat the eggs out of frustation after some time (from Google search) Which is why people take them out, if they don't they'll probably fight as the male will actually kick the female out, without anywhere to go they'll probably fight possibly to the death or out of stress
