Great video! I use the chains often as they help me a ton with lockout strength. I will be encorporating this method for sure! Side note, I hit 245 with roughly 36 lbs in chains (decent deload of the chains) for 5, 13 weeks out from my 12th competition!

I rigged up some suspended plates from stuff in my garage. I'm retired, small retirement and those big chains ain't cheap. I train alone and rig lets me lift heavy and still be able to re rack it. I can adjust where it deloads with boards I place under hanging 25lb plates. I've used the same rig on Squats, Deadlift and Press too. Your suspended chain rig is real nice and folding the chain makes sense too. Do you have a video on, Powerlifting competitions , requirements, divisions ? And at what point should one be even thinking about it. Thanks.

I think anytime is a great time to compete! It's fun and a great way to challenge yourself and meet like minded athletes

Hey coach I use spud INC yoke straps for D load. I don’t have any room for chains you think I will get the same benefits.

Not sure what you mean here my friend. You have something else to attach chains to but dont have the room?

I know this video is a year old but still hoping for some advice, what setup would you use for someone who trains at a gym where the pegs can't be removed?
