It’s another beautiful day and today we are going to make chipotle out of business with the best chicken burritos now I always say the best food is homemade and this burritos are no exception. Ingredients:
For the chicken
2 lbs chicken breast or thigh cut into bite size pieces
2 minced chipotle peppers with 1 tbsp adobo sauce
2 tbsp white distilled vinagre
2 oil
2 minced garlic cloves
1/4 minced white onion
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp chipotle powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
For cilantro lime rice
2 cups white rice I’m using basmati
4 cups water
2 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp fresh lime juice or juice of 1 lime
Handful of chopped cilantro
Flour tortillas
👉🏽optional toppings
Romaine lettuce
Sour cream
Pico de gallo
Smashed avocado
Fajita mix

Claudia, I rarely comment on KZbin but today I had to. Thank you for sharing this recipe! I recently had a chicken bowl there and for the first time, the rice was really flavorful. It had always been bland before. Now I can make my own. You have come through for me again! I generally count on your recipes if I want great mexican food. I don't know what you would call it, except maybe tropical but I made the best smoothie I've ever had: watermelon, peach, pineapple, blueberries, acai, passion fruit and organic apple juice. REFRESHING!
