Looks delicious! My husband part Swedish and he can't eat tomato sauce. So this would be a great alternative for both of us. Yum

Thank you so much for this recipe I made it for my family. I didn't feel any ibs systems myself and my niece with Celiac's didn't either and gave me a big hug after she ate it. Thank you so much

Awwww!! Yay!! I’m so happy to hear that! This dish is one of my favorites because it feels so decadent, but doesn’t make me feel weighed down and give me indigestion. It’s a comfort food that’s ACTUALLY COMFORTING.🙌🏻 I’m ecstatic to hear that you and your family feel the same way.❤️

I made this dish tonight and it was gorgeous! I used ground venison (since that’s what I owned already) and it turned out really nice! I want to try it with the 50/50 beef/pork next time to see if I like it better. The gravy was so good I had a hard time not overeating! Thank you for this! It is definitely going into my rotation!

Yum! I've never tried venison before, but I imagine the gaminess of the meat, took this dish to another level! Sounds delish!

Will it still be good if I only use ground beef ? Thank you ❤️❤️

I’ve made these meatballs plenty of times with just beef and they’re still super good. I do prefer them with pork because it does add a lot of flavor. You could also use lamb or veal instead of pork if you wanted.👍🏻

@@gritandgroceries thank you for your previous help with regards to nightshade and food intolerance, I appreciated it so much. I am considering staying on the low fodmap for life because of the relief it has brought me...

How long does it take to cook this?
@gritandgroceries3 жыл бұрын
It depends how quick you are in the kitchen, but the majority of my recipes take about an hour to make from start to finish. Don’t be intimidated by rolling meatballs - it only takes like 5 mins to roll them - the measuring takes longer! Lol

Is heavy cream low fodmap ?
@gritandgroceries3 жыл бұрын
Heavy cream, since it’s mostly fat, is low in the carbohydrate, lactose, that is malabsorbed by people with ibs. The low FODMAP serving size is 1 tablespoon. For a more in depth explanation you should check out my The Low FODMAP Diet Explained video.😉👍🏻
