Made the swap from Superfeet to CCM Orthomove in my VH skates. Feet hurt a bit in the arch w/Superfeet. CCM Orthomove (no added arch) have been awesome, no pain.

Months later...I'm going to try the Superfeet Carbon Pro as I feel I am pronating too much w/the CCM Orthomoves. The CCMs are still very comfortable (I don't use any extra arch support). I had the older Superfeet insoles, which gave me a bit of arch pain. I'm hoping the new Carbon Pros help w/pronation but don't cause arch pain. Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm going to try them and send back if I don't like them.

I had superfeet and I felt pain in the arch of my feet and I got the orthomoves when I got my AS1’s and tried the medium arch support and had zero foot pain. Love the orthomoves. I feel superfeet insoles are for high arch feet

The Orthomove are solid standard insoles. But I don't believe they offer the benefits that Superfeet will give you. But as you are aware, not everyone needs those benefits and finds Superfeet comfortable.

For goalie skates Superfeet did not work for me. Shifted my foot to high which messed up my ankle support. Secondly, my feet rocked around to much due to the rigid carbon plate. Probably better for player skates.

If your feet rocked it more than likely means the Superfeet were the incorrect size. They are supposed to fit snugly in the skate and not move, one of their benefits is a better heel lock. They definitely work for goalies, but it's personal preference.

Do you mean the Curex ones? I felt these were a step back from those. But it is a lot of personal preference.

Can't really compare the two by just seeing how stuff the arch is. Ccm was made so without any of the arch pads it would be for someone with flatter arches and thus made to somewhat collapse. If you wanted true arch support you would use the inserts which would prevent the arch area of the insole to collapse. Can't really compare the two as they are fairly diff insoles except that both are yellow.

The fact that they give you different options is true, but I did use the large supports and found they didn't have the same effect as the Superfeet do. So what is exactly the point of them? If you don't need arch support normal insoles are usually enough, but if you do need arch support the Superfeet are simply better. The colours and design were completely on purpose, Superfeet is a fairly common add-on accessory that other companies see as a lost sale, if Timmy asks his parents for the yellow thing inside Johnny's skate before it always meant Superfeet. These are definitely a better insole compared to most stock insoles, but the ones CCM included with their older skates were more comfortable and there is no way I could ever justify the $50 that these cost. But for free they are better than the thin piece of foam companies put with most skates.

@@HockeyReviews the only insoles that actually provide real arch supports are speed plates. I love them. Unlike some I actually like the feeling of something under my arch that isn't going to move. No negative space and no sponge feeling. I've used both generations of SPs and like them both but prefer the rigidity of the first gen ones. As for the orthomoves I got a pair and wasn't a fan. Mainly bc the heel area was pretty wide. I've had the SF yellow. SF carbon. CCM Orthomoves and speedplates. And speedplates are my favorite by far.

Spidey I'm in between D and EE skates and im looking at filling some space in my EE CCM tacks. I have been looking all over for inserts and am hoping some speedplates along with adrenaline powerfoot inserts will make a big difference. I have also not baked the skates yet but that is the next step.

@@not-AI speed plates take up a but more volume than the super feet. So that should help. I don't use powerfoot inserts but I would if I had Bauer or any other retail skate. I currently use trues and bc of the adjustable tongue I moved it a bit forward to take away the negative space in the toe box.
