The Bauer SpeedPlate 2.0 Skate Insole is a fully custom fit footbed that provides better balance, support and power than traditional foam footbeds. Recovery Alloy Technology allows the SpeedPlate to be heat-molded like a skate boot which results in personalized arch support, a custom formed heel cup, reduced negative space and better contact surface area between the foot and skate.

Just bought a pair in Harrison, NY for recreational skating in CCMs. Have very narrow A width trying to get better fit especially in heel. Looking foward to trying out.

I get blisters on my arch would these help prevent that from happening or will I need a high arch footbed?

My last old style ones cracked after five months. These new ones are more flexible so I hope they last. They are an excellent product as far as skating goes. I would not skate without them.

What's the order of customization? I bought just new skates and was wondering what steps to take. Do I heat up and fit the skates first and then the foot beds, or foot beds and then skates? Or can the skates and foot beds be heated together and fit at the same time?

Do I have to rebake my skates too or just the insole? I’ve backed my skates while using superfeet carbon but they hurt my feet so want to try these

After you have trimmed down the insole (if applicable), you can bake the insole by themselves. Place the insoles inside the skates and stand to let them mold to your foot! Brandon at IW Hockey

What temperature/how long should I bake these for at home? I’m cautious about putting them in for too long but I’m not sure how much of a colour change there is when they’re baked.

Superfeet Carbons are also a great foot-bed. It is 100% all about comfort while skating. There is nothing in the world that will make you a better or faster hockey player other then practice and of course more practice!!!

would the bauer speel plate 2.0 senior insoles size 7 would fit well in a size 8.5 hockey skate?

I just bought the 2.0 version in size 8.5 but will be downsizing to 8. Will this make a difference? I have not yet baked them as I am waiting for the new skates first. Can I just bake and trim if needed or should I get size 8?

Are your skates EE or D width? You should probably be able to get away with the D-Width but I don't think you'd be able to get a good fit trimming it down that much for EE. Chase at IW Hockey

Have tried the 2.0 speed plates? I got flat feet as well and my super feet insoles aren’t helping with the arch pain so I was gonna get the 2.0 insoles.

I had the pro carbons. They felt good for about 10 minutes before my feet started cramping. Of course everyone is different. They have a 60 day guarantee and I used 50 of those days to see if the pain would go away but they didn’t. I returned them and ordered the speed plates 2.0 today
