I see the drivers for the IGBTs, I also note it has 4 of them, so it's likely an H bridge topology that outputs a proper sine, pretty cool dude ive wanted to see inside one forever, thanks justin!

It is more meant to generate a truncated biphasic exponential pulse I believe.

8:06 i think that white component is a current transformer or current shunt to measure the power that is delivered to the electrode pad.

I made a battery spot welder from a Welch Allyn AED10 and a xray SCR.
