Betty, I check every day for a new video of yours. It doesn't matter how often, but know your wonderful videos are needed by many of us. Thank you for telling your story. It is not easy to admit to a problem. I have suffered with depression for years, but most people don't know that about me. My worst time is winter. Michigan weather was horrible for the SADD. Idaho is much better. However, it has been 4 days since there was sunshine. 😢 My solution is crafting. Even if all I do is cut tag base's for later embellishment. It keeps me grounded. You are in my prayers. ❤

Dear Betty I have went thru this exact same thing for probably 6 months, I love making journals too but I just had to stop awhile because I was depressed and the pressure I put on myself to create something made it worse. You have had so much on your plate over the last 6 months and I know you haven't probably thought through all of it. Give yourself grace and take a break, hug your cat, your kids, grandkids..watch some old movies you love but no current events. These are stressful times, we will be here when you return..🥰🙏🏻❤️

I started watching your videos the past week and I love them. I also have depression, can’t let it win! Also from Pinellas Park Fl. The past hurricane season was hard on everyone, so much we want to move! It’s getting so crowded here, not the same beautiful Florida it once was. Please keep sharing! You do what you need to do. Try not to worry, go with the flow. I’m going to try crafting after so long……maybe……Bless you!

Betty, I totally understand. I have very similar issues. It's not fun and many people don't understand, how hard some days are. You are brave for making this video. Give yourself some credit. I also have a son that is active in the Navy. It's hard when I only get to see him once a year or so. Also there is a loss as your children grow up and move out. It's good that they do but us moms quietly grieve. Know that you are not alone, there are many of us in the same boat but often think we are alone and don't realize it.

I remember going through this when I hit menopause...It was such a strange time for me, I was also in a funk and it took months for me to get through it...but I did come out on the other side..I know it's hard for you right now but I hope with time you too will come out the other side...I truly miss seeing your great talent, you need to do what is best for you right now and when you feel ready we will be here for you no matter the decision..God Bless and I hope you have a wonderful Holiday...Hugs to you..

I know how you feel because I have been going thru where I have not wanting to make anything. I have to get some Christmas present to wrap and I make Christmas cards but I have felt were I don't have energy to start them. I do have depression and I need to take my medicine the right way . I also suffer from seasonal affective disorder, and I already know that you have everything inside you to flourish and thrive to get yourself beyond this. Your chat today struck me pretty deeply, as I realized I have been feeling and doing the same myself. You know what struck me the most while spending this precious time with you was? I kept hearing you say how much you didn't finish, but what I heard and saw was all that YOU DID ACCOMPLISH! Please don't discount those things that you are able to do when times are tough. We, as women all go through this. I can hear the sadness in your voice when you talk about your son. I know you’re proud of him. But you miss him. I have been there, my friend!! My son got a huge job at Duke University. I was happy but I was so hurt inside. We were 7 hours away. The day I left him I cried all the way home. I know that is part of your sadness. But know this, we are here for you. We are some tough women. I am praying for you!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Betty, Ur talking bout me to a tee , the reason you havnt seen my videos for at least 3 yrs Depression bipola anxiety I'm on bed just watching videos From time I'm awake till I go to sleep I do absolutely nothing , nothing I'm proud of but nothing I can do bout it All my craft is packed in boxes cos I couldn't stand looking at it all Iv got so many things to complete but I simply don't Dam care It's all mental health but my back issue I'll think of you ok xx
