Awesome video! I don't use Photoshop so I'm not too sure how it works on the iPad, but one thing you may want to consider is erasing your roses using masking instead of the erase tool. That way you can easily tweak is later on. In most tools, masking can work with varying levels of black/white/gray (black = fully block out, gray = partially block, white = fully visible).

I love the daisy kit as well. I normally find my creative mojo when I am stressed. 🤦🏻‍♀️. Last Wednesday is when my craft studio remodel/reorganization started. Wednesday evening, I was so stressed because everything was in such chaos. My flaming method is creating, so I sat down and within 2 hours (at most), I had crated the daisy digital kit. When you are looking for images to use, just make sure to use copyright-free/royalty-free images. I will try to do a quick video maybe this afternoon showing some of the sites where you can get these images.

Oh goodness. I need to see if I can find the video for you. You can google “public domain photos” and you will be able to find a lot of royalty free graphics. I also use www.creativefabrica.com as you can use their images commercially. Also www.rawpixel.com has some good royalty free images as well.

Could we make the rose object translucent and then just do the edge part? And do you ever use the eraser in a colour to see how even the strokes are? Also, I don’t have photoshop, but we can do what you’re doing in the Zinnia app.

I use the eraser a lot of times to “clean up the edges” in my designs. I need to do another photoshop video as it has been quite a while since I’ve done one. I’ve never heard of the zinnia app. I need to check it out.

I have a question!! I'm excited to try this! So if I started a Photoshop I wouldn't have those hundreds of pictures you have. Where do I get those pictures and is it hard to download them to Photoshop?

There are a lot of public domain images that are free. Also, www.rawpixel.com and www.favpng.com It’s not hard at all to get them in to photoshop. You will just click on the photo icon and then just select the photo you want to work on.

You can absolutely do it on a PC--you will just use your mouse instead of the pencil.

Interesting process video, but I don't really get it. It seemed like the main tool you used was the erase tool. So, I don't really understand why you added all those images just to, basically, erase them all to the point where anything is barely visible. I also don't understand why you didn't just use the opacity on all of these images and then just use the erase tool to blend out the edges. Maybe it's the angle of the camera or the lighting or something because you can't really see the details on the page that well. I think the black elements were a bit harsh against the pale brown or pink background and I wonder what this would have looked like if you had changed the color of the black elements first to a more harmonious/matching color like dark brown, red, dark pink, etc. In any case - it was interesting to see your process. I reckon I could try doing something similar in Procreate, but You Tube popped this one up on my radar. I've been wanting to try my hand at designing papers so this was still helpful just seeing another person's process.

can anyone please help point me to some images that are similar to the roses and flowers that she has on her ipad/ I would really appreciate all of the assistance. Being able to make these for myself would be so fantastic. I dont usually have much money left in the crafting budget so if i had less i needed to purchase and more i can do for myself. You can use canva (it is free) with pretty much any computer that will connect to the internet. I will post a tutorial on canva later as wel.

How do you export those at 300 DPI from Canva?

When you export from PS to 300 DPI as a png, you upload it to Canva; in the settings in Canva, you can choose your export size.

@@catherinesalvage2877 , I use Adobe Creative Cloud which includes Photoshop and Illustrator as well as a few more that I haven't looked at much. =) I have found that Canva is VERY useful and they offer a free service that would be very beneficial; even if you use photoshop and/or Illustrator
