Between rose hips & fly agarics

The autumn season goes on with some quality time in nature and unloading new ceramic pieces from the kiln. After the heavy rains in September we are having an abundance of mushrooms in the forests. Especially so many pretty fly agarics that are usually rare for our area.

The fairy ring! Fly agaric are quite common here, I think they grow in symbiosis with birch trees? That said, this year hasn't been the best for them for some reason. I'm not sure why, as we've had plenty of rain! They're so pretty, I love watching them morph from taupe to red, and the tops change colour and the skirts emerge. Your autumnal walk looked wonderful, such a peaceful spot!

Yes, birches and spruces when I remember it right. In the surrounding of my hometown where I grew up, we always had many, but it is much more moist there in the forests. Strange, that you do not have them this year, maybe it was too much rain for them! Much love!

Mah! Der Feenring! Ich hab erst ganz selten welche gesehen. Und and deiner Keramik kann ich mich gar nicht sattsehen.

So einen tollen habe ich glaube ich noch nie gesehen! Einen mit Fliegenpilzen habe ich dann noch im Horner Wald gefunden, aber leider waren die Pilze schon recht alt und es hat nicht mehr so schön ausgesehen. Ich wünsch dir einen guten Wochenstart!
