The slowed between the legs is really good against people when you’re playing pickup against people who don’t really bite on any of your moves and it helps you drive to the paint
@CoachFrikki2 жыл бұрын
That's a really good point. Hadn't thought about it that way.
@ClassicMist3602 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's actually perfect for people who don't play active defense. You need to be explosive enough to beat your defender though, if you aren't, then it's crucial to have that spin-move for when your defender cuts you off. Easy bucket every time even if your defender is faster than you

I can see you're playing with your background music, so thought I'd mention - there's a very low and bouncy feeling bass beat in the background of a ja morant highlights video I could link you to. It's memorising, I've watched it a million more times than I need to because of this, and always before I head out to play pickup ball at the park. Really feels appropriate for any ball handling related visual content.

Hi coach! I'm here again! It would be very great if you could make a video about how to score against tight post defense or in the inner part of the court. You see, our basketball defense is always in the inner side near the rim because players here at our country or local players (not professional players) cannot shoot from deep threes or threes so defense is tight near rim and I've been finding ways to counter this or score against them. The most effective one is shooting it further the mid range or shooting it on threes and I have been practicing my shooting in my vacant time which is only weekend 2 days because I'm busy at school and I want to learn more moves to counter it thank you! Sorry for bad English English is my third language and I'm bad at it

Great video coach. I was wondering what the downsides are of choosing a between the legs over a normal cross. Personally I feel like that while it’s safer, it’s a lot slower but if I’m able to master the btl at a high speed as seen in some of the clips you showed. Wouldn’t it be better in every situation?
@CoachFrikki2 жыл бұрын
There are a lot of different ways to cross or go between the legs. But in general the crossover is more aggressive and can lead to easier blow-bys because the ball doesn't slow you down. But it is more risky because you're exposing the ball in front. Going between the legs is safer, but the ball slows you down.

Is BTB counter better than the BTL counter because I remember u ranking the BTB at S tier in ur move ranking video
@CoachFrikki2 жыл бұрын
BTL counter is nice but you need space between you and your defender. BTB is better in my opinion because it can be used in more situations, also when your defender is playing close to you. And because you can push off. And it takes less time to do, you can flow into it easy out of any dribbling move.
