We are very familiar with this place because we have been there many times. In Beverly Hills, Florida, there are old and new areas. You only drove through the old area but it is not a hood like you described it many times. The place is quiet and peaceful and safe, too! We encourage you to drive through the Twisted Oaks Golf Course and you will see how beautiful that new development is. If you are looking for a house, you need to visit that area. The High Ridge that you drove through earlier is also another good and beautiful neighborhood. That development, as a matter of fact, is almost sold out. The last house that's being sold is already in the high 300s. The demand for renters in that area already outpaced the available housing, which is hard to find in a hood. Thank you for sharing your video.

I don’t care where’s he’s been. I’ve lived in some rough parts of Miami, including Opa-Locka. This isn’t hood. Check the spot crime. It’s not even that bad. I would legit walk around here at night, unarmed. I live in another town in citrus county, 20 minutes away. Some places in Beverly Hills is run down and OLDER. It isn’t desirable to me, but most definitely, once again, not a hood!

I grew up here and its probably the safest and cheapest place ive ever lived, its not bad at all, it has the same amount of problem kids as any small town, one side is very old and run down, the newer side is retired folks that love golf, its surrounded by golf courses, and youre 30 minutes from ocala so you have access to bigger town easily, across the street is black diamond, pine hills, citrus hills, etc with homes over a million

My old house on Tyler sold for 200k 2 years ago. Hardly hood value. Nice home in 77, we sold in 99. Always was nice and quiet. Originally was built as a retirement community that marketed their homes towards retired autoworkers and steelworkers in Michigan. Also had a sales office in New York. They had a small motel near the main entrance and would offer lodging for their sales junkets from up north. New homes were built in phases. The homes near Lecanto Hwy, between Rose and Beverly Blvd were the first phase, so they were built in the late 60s and early 70's. No wonder they seem rough. The farther you get away from that area, the newer the homes. It was a different time back then. Most of the buyers experienced war and the depression, and were mostly concerned about saftey and comfort in their golden years.

Dude, I'm still waiting to see the hood. Houses like these in Miami or Fort Lauderdale would run you at least $450,000, if you're lucky. It may be inexpensive for a different reason, lack of jobs or educational opportunities, let's say, but I wouldn't call this neighborhood a hood.

You kept contradicting everything that you said bad about the place. Compared to other parts of Florida it looks much better. In every neighborhood there's going to be people that don't maintain their property like they should. Or they're just probably renters. There is a beach, though not anything to brag about, but it is always open and its one 12 mile road to to get to the deadend beach, endless places to just drive through trails and jump in crystal clear water and touch manatees, its better to look at the whole county as one city, you can get from one side to the other in 30 minutes, beverly hills is boring but fun is 30 minutes away in any direction, and for any shroom lovers you have about 100 fields you can go find them and have a wild time

No, your right about the jobs . But this was a deed restricted neighborhood and as the elders passed on the houses were sold to anyone. But for the most part its still a good neighborhood, Ocala is minutes away , Tampa is an hour away with the new highway they just ran . Orlando 1 hour 30 min away . Speed limit here gets you were you need to be in no time . Like I said in another comment Beverly Hills is growing but slowly. I'm happy I moved here from Ft.Lauderdale is peaceful and quiet.

Def not a hood lived here for a bit, most people keep to em selves. You got drugs but it aint rampid you gotta search for that shit by goin to a bar or somethin, aint never heard no gunshots or nothin, i lived in kinda a trailer park in hernando about 5/10 mins from inverness and a guy killed his wife an kids then shot himself, this was like 5 mins walking distance from me my memory might be busted but ik he killed some people in his house then shot himself, and that neighborhood was more peaceful so bh is pretty chill, the house i rented in bh though was busted, yellow liquid leaking from the bathroom ceiling, black mold in the bathroom, back yard had a bunch of trash spreaded over like toys and shit. And one of the big as eletrical wires on the back porch, always had a puddle under it when it rained so if you touched that shit your dead. Also mold on the bottom of the dores from like water damage, paid 1300 a month for that shit prob just a shitty landlord though idk man the neighborhoods pretty chill though.

lived in south florida my whole life, and moved here 3 months before the pandemic. i asked the same question, whats so bad about beverly hills florida. after a few months i did a road trip, and came back home after 2 months and 2 of my neighbors stole my garbage cans (they dont provide garbage cans here, and i brought the big boy expensive ones that are 80 dollars each). 1 garbage can was across the street, and the 2nd one was 10 houses down. the woman even had the audacity to put her house number on my garbage can after she stole it. 2 months gone and mailbox is empty and post office didnt know anything about it. I also got to witness my neighbors beat the crap out each other physically and cops called multiple times. if the houses were still 85k, i would still recommend this place, but they going for 135-160 now, and there is no real economy here.

My aunt lives there in a condo and I have wanted to know what it looks like there. Not sure that's a hood though. I just thought of something. She has no garage, so she ends up with critters messing with her van. My grandparents lived in Crystal River, and I loved their Spanish-style roof. She called it "the country" because she and grandpa were kind of out in what I thought were the jungles of Florida as a kid. The American flag with red and blue symbolizes police, firefighters, and first responders.

Haven’t been there but I usually go by the cost of living it usually tells you a lot about some of the types of people that live in different area’s of florida. Some people are just poor or middle class it doesn’t make them trash or doesn’t mean they live in the hood. People live where they can afford to live not everyone is rich. So for me the cost of living will keep me away 18.2% lower then the u.s. say I would not make this a place I want to move to. But for others it’s home and it’s better then being homeless.

Plus I have lived here for ten years now and there is a few bad streets,. yes, but I live in an awesome neighborhood where everybody looks out for each other and we have get togethers and keep our houses and yards clean. Why would you want to come to our town and say it's a really bad place to live when you don't live here to know the truth? The news sensationalizes bad news. There is alot that happens that's good around here that's not reported on. Bad news sells and you're just adding to that by making these videos.

As someone who grew up in Philadelphia and spent 37 years there, this is the suburbs of Florida at worst. I was just in Beverly Hills Fl a couple days ago, and drove through the same route as you. This is a decent, safe working class neighborhood. Try walking around Kensington Ave in Philly, or spend the day in Chicago on foot if you want “ghetto”. Your statements are hilarious 😂 People coming from NYC, NJ and other cities aren’t bringing value with them. They are bringing their same bad voting habits that led to them fleeing their area to FL, which will lead to the downfall of Florida.
