I don't know many young children but now I understand the importance of keeping choking hazards and other toxic materials away from reach. The animation looks really good! They never fail to be entertaining XD. I think a middle school classmates did that pen thing; don't remember how it ended. I hope your stomach was okay from that spoiled fish!

A similar situation happened to me with the “fake sucking the pen”. My mom showed me how to do it with gel pens to supposedly have more ink(?) One time I sucked in on one and accidentally got gel pen ink in my mouth. It was gross!😂

Oh my god I am so relieved I am not in the only one! I had a beige-pink gel pen and wanted to blow the color down because it wrote splotchy.. and of course the color went the other way. Unfortunately I was in class, ran to the sink to wash my mouth and because it was beige-pink everybody thought I was vomiting whatever instead of having swallowed ink... and I tried inbetween washing my mouth and spitting out to explain to my teacher I was just washing away nasty ink and I was not sick.

I did that with a hot pink pen but it happened in the middle of my third or fourth grade class. 😭 luckily my classroom had a sink (for some reason?) so I just spit it out and rinsed my mouth. I swear we don’t pay teachers enough in the US.

I have Pica so I still sometimes cannot resist eating chalk or raw rice . I know it's bad for me and it's been a long time since I had any of these items but I can still feel the urge sometimes

We used to also have a bug problem so to solve it my dad mixed bug poison with peanut butter and used bottle caps to put the peanut butter in, so the bugs can die after eating it, and nobody labeled the peanut butter with poison when they put it back. So one day, my dad asks me to make him a pb and j, and at the time we had 2 peanut butters. The poison one, and the regular one. But I didn't know that there was even a poison one to begin with so I used whichever one i grabbed first, which happened to be the poison one. I also made a pb and j with it too because I was hungry as well. When I gave the sandwich to my dad and we both ate it, we thought everything was fine until my brother runs up to me saying I used the wrong one, and he'd noticed because I had left it on the counter top. Apparently the difference was that the poison one was a little thicker (we used a powdered roach/ant killer). Everything worked out though the poison doesn't effect people, besides maybe a little of a upset stomach. But yeah I literally thought that I had killed me dad and me.

Your bread story reminds me of smt i did once My mom gave me apple slices for school in a Tupperware. There was an event that day so i just keep em in my locker and forget. Next week i remember the Tupperware and open the container only to see it be wrapped in white thread stuff. I thought a spider had made a web in my apples and immediately drop the container with a shriek so fun times

I used to eat flowers off trees, like crab apple and plum, around my house all the time as a kid. Also random food I found on the ground, specifically popcorn and candy. Even if it was *covered* in sand. The grossest thing was probably in elementary school, my mom used to work at a middle school cafeteria and so me and my sister had to stay there after school a lot (she didn't trust us to stay home alone or own a house key), well one day we decided it would be a good idea to pull all of the gum off the underside of the cafeteria tables to chew... Didn't swallow but I legit remember being confused why our mom made us spit it out. I wonder if this kind of thing was why I got stomach flus so often back then...

I've had the misfortune of finding plastic and metal in my takeaway only realizing it when it's already been in my mouth. And I've also had the misfortune of biting into moldy bread and other expired foods. Lingering trauma makes me think twice about having a bite before checking it first xD And as a kid I was pretty curious so I tasted some weird stuff (crayon, pen ink, laundry soap) and some not so but still weird things (bites of butter, drinking maple syrup, eating raw tortilla dough). Also I never ate glue either it didn't hold any appeal. Thanks for the vid :)

Oo the ink one was very common in my school , in 4 grade when we were allowed to use pens I remember ALOT of students (including me) drinker ink because of trying to control it ...they changed to rules in my school and made students use pen at 5 std instead- anyways I used to eat alot of expired food like ( just yesterday ) and some I never got food poisoning 👀.....

I know just how you feel; as a fruit, bananas are delicious. But, as an artificial flavor it's nasty. Speaking of taste, I had my fair share of eating moldy bread. The taste is hard to describe but, if it smells or taste like a wet washcloth or nail polish, put it in the trash. Same can be said with pancakes if you'd left them outside the fridge for too long. As for the pen ink, at least it wasn't weed killer. I've seen that "Apaches" PSA and...it wasn't pretty (thanks again for the trauma, Britain...).

I remember when I was in kindergarten and when It was lunch time I would always bend down and pickup cheetos on the ground and eat it and I'm not talking about food that just dropped on the ground, I'm talking about cheetos with shoeprints in it,ppl stepped on them and I still ate it lol I don't know how I didn't even get sick, and when I was in 6th grade I saw a raisin on the ground next to the door and I love raisins so why would I not eat it? And I woke up the next morning with a tummy ace and started to puke all over the place for a whole week and its my first time ever vomiting and I told my mom that I ate something off the ground and she deadass told me that my father had put ants powder at the doorway...well atleast I'm still alive😂😂

I actually have Pica (it was way worse when I was a bit younger) I’ve eaten paper, eracers, towel fabric, clothing fabric, pillow stuffing, my hair, soft plastic, rubber, styrofoam, a lot of stuff. I’ve gotten a bit better over the years on controlling my cravings, but some times I still relapse and eat something inedible (mostly erasers) I hope you all have a wonderful day or night

Ok Josh I have to share some stories too lol. Ok when I was small my mom bought these laxatives because I had constipation, thing was this was those chocolate laxatives for kids. My clever brain was like "it's just chocolate" and are the whole pack... the rest is explanatory. I also love eating till this day eating Milo/hot chocolate by itself and baby formula, the Nestle brand. Idk why but baby formula is heavenly and I buy it willingly for myself. And lastly l like chewing straws, takeout utensils, lollipop sticks. Not all plastics only specific kinds. Also I had a thing of forgetting my lunch box in my bad the last day of school before school holidays start. So when I eventually noticed the fungi-box I threw the whole lunchbox again because my mom would kill me. I ended up with no lunchboxes left and my mom started giving me butter container or spice containers as lunchboxes lol.
