Bex! Glad to see you. I think I had told you about this hike and how much I’d enjoyed it, when you were in that area before. Way back when, 30-40 years ago, I walked it. I’ve walked down two separate times, luckily the house was open on one of my trips there. No crowds nothing. I’m so glad I went there and around that area when I did. I don’t remember the boat ride, but I knew about the tea room etc.. Such a beautiful cool home. I laid out on a log at the edge of the water there that had icicles hanging from it and my boyfriend, at the time, took a pic. I was happy. We both just loved it there.

Hi Bex! I love your Smokey the Bear shirt! Seeing the beaver damn and lodge was a real treat! Beautiful trail, beautiful bay. Really cool house and courtyard. Wish we could see the inside (I'm a crowd avoider too, though). "My eye!" heeheehee Oh that meal looked good. Mezzetta - one of my favorite brands for a number of things! I wear my "thermals" as pajamas too. Mine are Cuddl Duds, smooth and silky and non-binding; not like the waffle-weave ones of my youth. I have many pairs - I wear them as base layers - they work so well, without overheating me. Great to see you again, Bex! Good health and happiness to you always! Safest travels! Hi, always love your videos it was nice to see you in Tahoe makes me feel like I’m home . I grew up in Lake Arrowhead Ca which looks like a miniature Lake Tahoe . I was surprised to see the beautiful old rock house super beautiful . In Lake Arrowhead there is a castle probably built 100 years ago that was brought from Europe each Rock was numbered and rebuilt on the lake we use to look around trying to find the trap door we heard about we wanted to explore inside it was a stunning castle . One day we were run off by an old caretaker yelling at us what are you girls doing . It was a great place to grow up always walking around the lake and exploring . You have a great holiday season glad your back . Best wishes
