Hello love this spread and think you need to change your July for August? Love the reset Idea I just spent the afternoon getting my budget up to date and I do cash stuffing so I’m going to film that although I’m not sure what a reset is so will be keen to see your first one.

I am looking forward to watching your reset videos. Either way that you feel comfortable doing them works. I highly recommend looking at some videos about zero dollar budget. I used a combination cash envelope and zero dollar budget. We took that parts that fit into our lives and it completely changed our lives. It’s amazing when you do the zero dollar budget how much money you can actually save.

I hadn't heard of a reset video until you talked about it. Sounds good to me! Vlog or tabletop - either will be great I'm sure. I certainly understand your nervousness about the vlog-style video.

Hey Becky, really looking forward to the reset video! I started budgeting in May and I'm saving so much more money than I was before. I still get to buy things I want but having a limited budget just makes me question whether it's something I really need and it has stopped me making those impulse buys. I personally don't use cash although I see the appeal. I use Revolut for my separate pots (or vaults as they are called in Revolut) and they earn interest. It's only 0.65% for the free accounts but it's better than nothing and they add the interest daily so it's nice to see it ever so slowly increase. I know Hyperjar is also really good for digital budgeting - it has pots too but when you pay, you can take it directly out of the specific pot so there's less faffing around moving money between pots.
