I don't get why people thinks ryuga is far stronger than gingka or kyoya. Sure Ryuga defeated both of them 1v1. But at that time Kyoya nor Gingka mastered their upgraded beys. Ryuga even said something like "you think you can defeat me without mastering your beys?", But after their encounter with ryuga, both gingka and kyoya get used to their new beys by the end of the series. Even kenta with flame sagittario was able to scratch L-drago destroy. If anything I would say Gingka, Kyoya and Ryuga are all equal or at least Gingka and Kyoya being closer to Ryuga's level.

Not really. There is no guarantee Gingka could beat even the other legendary bladers like King and Dynamis. Also Chris only lost to Gingka because of plot where they had to reach Nemesis. If it was an official tournament, all legendary bladers are equal but the way Ryuga crushed King and then Chris without any plot armor in neutral situation means he was the only exceptional one.

Simply saying that Tsubasa and Kyoya were adequate competitors to defeat ryuga but they didn’t partly for the sake of the plot and what the story was trying to achieve. Part of this is also due to the point you made about Ryuga being possessed and so they faced an opponent that wasn’t truly representative pf Ryugas strength alone. In the end, yes Gingka did win but not by his own strength alone (which is guess is one of the moral drivers of the story) but this i guess is balanced out by the fact that he waas facing a ryuga who wasn’t using just his own strength either.
