Legitimately trained and battled his way up from basically a normal kid in episode 1 to top 8 Bladers when he battled Reggie near the end. He was basically demoted to side character in masters but in fury he recognized he couldn’t keep leaning on Gingka and did the best thing he could have done which was try to recruit Ryouga. Which eventually succeeded. His personality can be annoying sometimes but he essentially has the greatest come up story in the anime. Which all started because he made the conscious choice to get better and stuck to it through all the trial and tribulations. TLDR the kid has heart and doesn’t deserve the hate.

What if the Beylin Fist were the followers of Nemesis, Pluto, Rago and King Hades. They could have had Aguma look cooler and on par with King and Dynamis. Bao could have clapped Masamune and force Chris to awaken, encouraging him to join their group through relatability. I got to start writing a mix of the supporting main cast and Dragon Ball Z.

Likewise, Dynamis told Aguma that evil leads you to failure, trouble, and regret, so if Aguma and Chris are still evil, then Ryuga will come to kill Chris and Aguma and take their power and souls. The manga, Aguma and Chris, are not evil. Rather, they are rivals and friends of Ginka, like Kyoya. Honestly, why the hell did they make Aguma and Chris evil in the anime, while in the manga they are goods and friends of gingka? Aguma and Chris are supposed to be rivals to Gingka, like Kyoya in the anime

So he's become much stronger mid battle by virtue of a gift from Ryuga, which is the point of his character arc. It's understandable to be frustrated by Kenta because he spends 2 seasons being pathetic though. I think they should have given him more character development in season 1, or at least kept the Kenta from the side arc with Sora. Kenta then was a mentor to Sora, but somehow devolved when rejoining the main cast.
