Black is King is definitely THE PROJECT. Is the biggest music project I've ever seen and it's super well thought. If you go deeper in the story you will realize how big The Gift album is. Apparently this is how Beyoncé finished the love letter to Africa. This is an important and powerful message of self love, how important is our history and embrace it, never forget our culture, our roots, our ancestors. And also never lose your way. Seeing this makes me feel loved and empowered and proud even I'm not Black but I'm Brown and I received the message. As a recommendation for you, watch it again and go deeper into the story you will find it even better. Beyoncé is King

Mood 4eva is Beys version of Hakuna Matata (cast your cares don’t give AF) she and Jay represent Timon and Pumba during that visual as they taught Simba to forget his past after he thought he caused Mufasas death. So Nala was not in the movie during that time of his life until they met later when they were adults when Nala was searching for food , because Scar and the Hyenas had ruined the Prideland and caused widespread famine.

If you keep in mind that this parallels The Lion King it's easier to keep track. Water is Simba and Nala at the watering hole, Already is "It's time for you to come home, Simba". Bigger in the beginning is Mufasa telling Simba about the circle of life, Don't Jealous Me is the hyenas, Mood 4 eva is Hakuna Matata and so on for the most part.

@lesedikhoaripe80724 жыл бұрын
Sydney Barrett I cant agree with this. And another thing is that you need to stop speaking in plurals and generalizing. If you’re out of touch with your heritage there is no shame is saying so, at least then you would’ve made progress into the right direction to seek learn and know more so you can overcome the fears you have about your past lives of your ancestors. If you know who you are as an African child you wouldn’t be ashamed. So stop sounding like Beyoncé has come like some kind of saviour to us this due to one project. She’s just showing us what we already know
@ifyejikeme10674 жыл бұрын
Well, your narration was good however, the story from what I've seen so far has to do with us as humans, the journey we go through, all the ups and downs, the temptations we face, our struggles, our strengths, our passions, our beliefs, our desires, our protectors and most importantly, ourselves. Finding ourselves is the key purpose of our existence and surviving all our struggles makes us all powerful. Finding our inner strength makes us kings. We are all anointed for greatness and in my opinion, that is the message of this video...TRULY BLACK IS KING...HOWEVER RACE, RELIGION, CULTURAL BELIEFS, ETHIC UNDERSTANDING AND UPBRINGING SHOULDN'T HINDER US FROM EXISTING AS ONE...ONE ❤💘.....I AM A PROUD AFRICAN...THE MOTHERLAND....A LAND FILLED WITH GREATNESS👊✊✊

@@stephenbishop7283 Just out of curiosity, would you take issue with a film that exclusively glorifies European culture on a broad spectrum not just specific moments in history, specific countries or subcultures of Europe but white Europe as a whole under a blanket term like "White is King"? We generally don't identify as "white" and we are definitely not defined by it. Africa is a rich, diverse continent that deserves recognition and representation but this film is just an American millionaire making bank off the social unrest in America under the pretence of actually giving a sh*t about Africa.

Songs: 10/10 Theme: 10/10 Photography: 1000/10 Transitions: 10/10 Choreography: 10x10 / 10 Outfits: ** LOVELY ** Scenes: Absolutly PERFECT End: to PRAISE And I make a new Plus in its visuals: Special effects are so perfect and credible that they go hand in hand with Disney, everything .. Everything, everything is credible but at the same time very magical, it is to turn reality into something magical because everything you see is nothing invented or fantasy and even so it seems ✨🙈 Telling a story and exposing the roots of a black culture far above the black panthers and taking us to the most feared African tribes in all history and being part of it, was an experience without words, it is everything with everything, there is light, feeling, love, joy, fun, darkness, there is everything. It shows that they invested a lot of money in this project and it is a great winner ... I think it is also knocking on the door to the Oscars ceremony you have to see it because yes, it is necessary 🥺❤

The wedding ceremony in the film is shot with Zulu imagery in the buildings and clothing.
