The scene of her walking through the streets. Getting noticed by everyone. But not caring. It's a feeling that's hard to describe but portrayed so well in this MV. You don't care about everyone elses attention, in that moment all you ever want is that special person's attention. I love that scene the most.

This video is so beautiful. The way I interpreted it is, you see how she's walking on the street and is instantly recognized and bombarded with the surprise, admiration and attention of these people? It shows, to me, that even after the distraction that the fun/parties that she rebelliously attends, life seems to smack her right in the face again once it's over, and as a result, she runs back to the arms of the one that hurt her the most because, even though he hurt her so badly, he keeps her grounded and sane. He's really her peace bro. It would hurt more to come home to a large, immaculate penthouse full of emptiness, full of nothing.

Sad, but that's it, you hit the nail on the head. Perfect analysis of this short film, if you will. It didn't start off that way. He starts off showing the best version of himself (even if he came into it as a cheater or not) and then he graduates into the worse side, but by then the woman is so attached and in love (or vice versa). Nobody wants to be cheated on and just take it. Some are strong enough to leave, some aren't. With some, it can be fixed, with others, it can't.
@aanyamallick77473 жыл бұрын
@@ikaros_98 "that's load of bs" the analysis the person made is spot on. This isn't a song for people, it's a song about B and B's lifestyle and rlshp. It ain't no "this is what I'm teaching you " song, it's a "this is what I've been through song" I suggest you spent more time interpreting the meaning behind an artists work for THEM, what THEY'VE been through and is sharing, instead of what the artist is teaching the fans. Songs like these are personal, vulnerable and intimate. Yes its not good to stay with a cheater, but some men( who are one of if not more than one type of narcissist) would show the best version of themselves and capture the woman and when the perfection starts to crack, she's already in too deep to let him go or walk away

I listened to Lemonade over and over again those first few months, when I still thought we’d make it. 27 + years out the window. It took me so long to realize that it truly wasn’t my fault. Yes, I contributed to the demise of my marriage, but nothing I ever did rose to that level. The lies and gaslighting, deflecting all of the blame onto me, making me feel like a crazy jealous bitch when all along he was with another woman. In a peaceful way, I would like to know if people that listen to this song are aware of the importance that it has for an artist like Beyoncé. This is the most important song of the album BEYONCÉ for one simple reason. This is Beyoncé as a true human. We see herself having fun in songs like Blow, Flawless; being sexy like every other artist in Partition or Drunk in Love, but no other artist with this amount of fame has come out and expressed their true feelings and put it out in an album in such a majestic way. There is a saying that every single person in this world has problems, it's just that some people know how to hide them better than others. With this song people can identify a lot because being jealous is part of life, is part of growth and it's part of self-esteem. It is more raw than any song that's out there playing on the radio. I would love for this song to get more attention but it is what it is. The people that have the opportunity to listen to it, enjoy it while you can. This is one of a kind.

I think this video shows two meanings. the first one is her jealousy of Jay. the second one is that she is jealous of us, non-celeb people who are free to do our stuff without being chased by fans or paparazzi. that's why she decides to go out at night, hanging out with her friends and walk in the sidewalk all by herself without having her bodyguard around her so she knows how to "walk in our shoes" which is the "type of things she will never ever do".

this is the song that follows partition. Everybody was going off about partition being about sex and all the bull, its about trying to keep a marriage alive, but then you realize you deserve more and get jealous that he can do what he wants and you are the one that have to worry about your marriage and what not. He just doing what he wants. But you take a look in the mirror and realize you can't survive like this

@artofcouture56379 жыл бұрын
This song is really sad. I believe it's about her admiring us everyday people for being able to just be human but because of her fame, she's constantly scrutinized and judged. She's not able to just go out and do the things normal people do and it's killing her. She wants to break free. At least for a day

+wallace torrieri You don't pay people to introduce you at Award shows. MTV chooses their line of presenters. Like wtf??
@jjmoneymonkey33469 жыл бұрын
+wallace torrieri I don't think anyone in this set of comments is saying that. They are indeed two different types of artists with different styles and who knows both may have inspired each other. I don't think she portrays herself as a God, her fans do and because of that a lot of people tend to dislike her. To me she's just confident (at least when performing;which is her job) and there's nothing wrong with that. I know I'm confident whenever I have to do a presentation in my classes at my University. Being confident means you feel good about yourself and everyone should feel that way about themselves.

Glad to see how she portrays how it is in the male and female. Don't feel like sharing your self as a being. Be mother. Your child seems to be wanting to speak to you through your own art. She wants something different. The place and room is there. Your mom sees you and she's trying to go as she is growing too, sadly as woman we got trapped into the having kids. As woman wait fully and as man don't procure those services.

for Those who what to sing along (like meehh): I'm in my penthouse half-naked I cooked this meal for you naked So where the hell you at Just one shot left of this drink, in this glass Don't make me break it I wish that you were me So you could feel this feeling I never broke one promise, and I know when you're not honest Now you got me yelling that's because I'm jealous If you keeping your promise, I'm keeping mine Oh I'm jealous If you keeping your promise, I'm keeping mine Oh I'm jealous Sometimes I want to walk in your shoes Do the type of things that I never ever do So I take one look in the mirror and I say to myself Baby girl you can't survive like this no Take it one step further Freakum dress out my closet Yoncé fillin' out this skirt I look damn good, I ain't lost it And I ain't missed a beat Boy you been hanging out at night Tonight I'm staying out 'til tomorrow Dancing on them tables ain't got no cares, no sorrow I ran into my ex Said what up to his besties Now we reminiscing how we used to flex in Texas Don't be jealous If you keeping your promise, I'm keeping mine Oh I'm jealous If you keeping your promise, I'm keeping mine Oh I'm jealous Sometimes I want to walk in your shoes Do the type of things that I never ever do I take one look in the mirror and I say to myself Baby girl you can't survive like this no And I hate you for your lies and your covers And I hate us for making good love to each other And I love making you jealous but don't judge me And I know that I'm being hateful but that ain't nothing That ain't nothing I'm just jealous I'm just human
