Beyonce was honored on October 2nd, 2009 with the Woman of the Year award during Billboard's annual Women In Music luncheon held at New York's Pierre Hotel.
Beyonce then took the hot seat alongside radio personality and Oprah's best friend, Gayle King, for a Q&A during which she was probed about her relationship with husband Jay-Z, her position as a role model for young women, and her goals for the future. "I really want to win an Oscar," she revealed.

@malaika326 Beyonce doesn't have an Oscar because...she can't act. I'm baffled that she doesn't have a slew of Emmys (the Emmys give awards to great musical performances). Her Grammy performance (when her first album came out) was beyond words, The Beyonce Experience BRINGS ME TO TEARS it's so amazing and countless other performances. But her time will come.

@asanirims29 We all now that Beyonce is a well oiled farce in some ways for instance her song writting. She doesn't write songs or produce them. However, the industry has changed and she has found a way not to become a TOTAL pupet like the historical artist of Motown who made the way for artists like Beyonce. She didn't invent getting songwriting credits for songs she didn't write so why bash her for a practice that is well known
