Jess Vermont this is far from a partisan issue. Democrats certainly do not hold any moral High ground. Both the Bush and Clinton dynasties were at the center of this massive drugs/weapons smuggling scandal. Drugs were being smuggled into and distributed out of Arkansas under the coordinated efforts and protection of Governor Bill Clinton, working closely with career criminal and former CIA thug and deep state royalty George HW Bush.

Jess Vermont you parrot Hillary Clinton with her “vast right wing conspiracy,” lie as she defended her rapist husband and continued harassing his victims for decades.. Again; both families are criminals. The tangled web surrounding this particular deep state scandal is perhaps the easiest or earliest example. The Clintons learned a lot from the Bush family. That’s not “whataboutism.” I’m defending neither crime family. Your impulse to defend the Clintons, to find a distinction between these two families or, for that matter, the two major political parties is where you demonstrate intellectual laziness or at least an inability to see the full picture. I've heard a couple gripes (and I'm all ears for any others) about Sheehan, but overall I found the courses he taught at UCSC really informative and overall a great (I'd say medium form) summary/introduction to the topics of the courses.
