Beyond February: Part 1 - The Enduring Legacy of the Pine Grove Rosenwald School

I wonder if there was a black neighborhood around that area during that time. My grandparents were born around 1909 and lived in a place called Pine Grove. I heard stories that some of my older uncles and aunts went to school in a board house and I'm wondering if this was the school. I'm confused about it because most all of my aunts and uncles (10 children) have passed. My mother's the youngest child and her second oldest sister, my aunt, are the only ones left. Unfortunately my mom doesn't know (b.1947) and my aunt's memory (b.1937) is not so clear.
