IMO the thumbnail boat was close to sinking when a huge wave hit, but the windshield was a lifesaver. What do you guys think?

Those little Boston whalers seem to be a stout little boat. I live up in Maine and do mostly freshwater. But I have a rare boat only a few were made. It’s a 1988 Mirrocraft Voyager. 21 foot 8 foot beam aluminum cuddy cabin. If you ever see one in Florida it would be rare. Love this channel and seeing all the rich peoples boats. I say rich because up here in Maine if you have half a million in outboard motors your rich lol. Keep your videos coming.

I believe the black boat at the beginning was misidentified as a Bayliner but I believe it’s actually an old IMP. You can make out the letters on the aft quarter. The original company was called Red Fish Boats in Kansas. In 1963 they were bought and renamed by the Iola Molded Plastics (IMP) and apparently were around by that name until some time when they were bought out by a Florida-based company called International Marine Products. My buddy had a 31 IMP that was actually a hell of a rough water go fast boat. The hull was a splash of one of the Aronow designed bottoms.

Either those Boston Whalers are a superb design, or they attract competent people, or both

There's only 2 classes of small boats in the CG that can reright if capsized. The one you see in this video, is not one of them.

It is nearly impossible to stuff a RIB like that but tow boat my arse managed it, not the captain( using the phrase loosely) you want to tow your boat, he might sink both lol

I cannot get over these police boats with one person on board. Just how helpful could they be in an emergency? Can’t skipper and help at the same time surely? Least these guys have life jackets on and I hope the kill switch around their wrists.
