Blind Guardian is far more than just Power Metal. They know how to use the Orchestra in a proper way. their latest Release had some issues, but they are pretty "Symphonic". And the new stuff by xandria is way better than BTB. I still like BTB though but Xandria have the better Songwriting and lyrics. This is just random in my eyes

Considering that this band was founded in 2014 they have a HUGE fan base. They are also about to play in Wacken, the biggest metal festival in the world, for the third time. A lot of bands could only wish to be that popular after existing for 10 years.

They already played Wacken 3 times! They have great support and well deserved. One of the best bands I discovered in the last years.

Because they are very young and somewhat generic so it's hard to get attention. They anyway are very big for their age I think, mentioning their participation at Epica's and Powerwolf's tour and the big marketing campaign. The last one can also become a problem, because many metalheads (including a part of myself) think they were cheating.
