Is there a place where we can verify that laymen apologists have a blessing from the bishop? I agree with everything you are saying but it would help me and others if there was some form of verification. Especially when a young man is asking his elder whether he should listen to this or that and the reply is "do they have a blessing from the bishop?"

While we do all have the blessing of our spiritual fathers, that would be like policing the proof of baptism of everyone you met in church. Not trying to take a dig at you, and while I definitely do understand where you're coming from, I don't think there would be a viable way of doing that, no.
