Thanks go to everyone for demonstrating. Especially Edward who puts so much effort into explaining everything super clearly, plus all the camera work, plus playing (plus taking care of Ken's board), plus answering questions from message board. I agree, why am I not a subscriber? I am now. I'm at a point that whatever you're streaming, I'll probably be buying and I intend to join these sessions live instead of months later.

I would have liked to watch it live.. I'm only at 2.38, but there has been several times where Ken has put out discs, and nobody remembers that he researched the top level 3, that allowes him to choose wich disc he wants, that he is not limited to match the symbol.

#amazingteacher Game looks super interesting. I love technology trees so this immediately had my interest. The playthrough only increased it.

We did discover that the game should have ended after the 3rd achievement was reached. That made the game go on too long and Edward would have probably won.

The (at end of turn) text in the achievement cards. Does it mean at the end of the turn of the player claiming the achievement or the end of the turn is after all player ahve played their turn for that round ? An example for this confusion. PLayer 1 is first player, just claimed control over two planets this turn that allows him to put two food production disks. At the same time triggering for him the Achievement to have an entire row of production's disk emptied. Can that player claim the achievement or do we need to wait for player's 2 turn to end ? BEcause if so, player 2 can come contest the claim on the planets and put the food production disk to player 1's mat. Which would mean the achievement would no longer be compelted (At end of turn)

Hey Guys - Using the BGG Complexity scale as a reference, what complexity rating would you give this game? Not looking for anything exact, even a range would be helpful. Thanks

Edward needs to let people play their own game. He is a control freak.

The silver on those actions spaces looks like you can rub it away with a coin. Maybe I've been playing too much charterstone...

What difference if Edward puts the unused technologies on the bottom of the deck if he shuffles the technologies before checking for new ones.

Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but having been one of the playtesters for this game I can say it's a great experience. Maybe not the weight the Herd prefers, but when you want something shorter with challenging decisions, it's a really good one.

I found this very difficult to watch. I really enjoy the game and we can play an enjoyable four player in half the time.

Stopped watching after Jess got petty. I get so annoyed, when players decide to play like that (you did something bad to me, so now I'm just going after you, no matter if it benefits me or not)

Me too! There were two obviously better moves with the same turn she missed, and made such a terrible play based on missing out on a single jump action (and I suppose losing temporary control of one spot). Not to mention on the previous turn, she invited that by having the event she controlled act at Sol instead of some place where she could have jumped to before anyone else (assuming she "dug" for any tech that has a jump" and control before anyone could do it.). After that, I didn't even bother to find out who won (I assume Edward did. From his position, he could easily hasten the game end and win.) I do hope she got over it later, but I couldn't watch. Plus, the amount of AP here was very frustrating. Even skipping through the AP on playback was annoying. In some cases, without their action space being blocked, I marked a couple times where someone took 9 minutes just to decide on a move they could have decided during someone else's turn. The way the game is designed, it looks like is it is very important to manage the resources (e.g. "tight economy"). So, if you aren't looking at least 1 move ahead, you're going to be trapped with inefficient actions. Given that most places have 2-3 action spaces open in a three player game is to obviously to prevent AP. Two of the players were looking only at their actions on their turn, which likely messed with their enjoyment of the game - it sure messed up mine, watching only to learn more about this game. They play so many heavy euros on this channel, I was shocked to see this level of play! I would think heavy euro players would think multiple moves ahead out of habit. Do they ever win a game the play at cons where the table meta is more flexible?
