No. Too many ded blvck artist have their biopic stories made (some truth, some entertainment and lies) made just to make profit for these industry leeches. Blvcks have unconsciously embraced the "youre worth more devd than alive" culture by feeding into these biopic stories and going all out for the celebrities once they're gone. Sometimes it's best to accept people being gone, love their legacy and respect the privacy of their personal lives

You really need to read Janice book in her book she said her cousin introduce her to Frankie Beverly Janice introduced Marvin Gaye to Frankie Beverly because Frankie Beverly was trying to jump start his career and Frankie thought Janice could help him. At that time the group was not called Frankie Beverly and Maze it was another name I can't remember right now. When Janice started to mess with Teddy Pendergrass her and Marvin Gaye we're no longer together Frankie Beverly told her not to mess with Teddy Pendergrass because they're both from Philly and he heard things about him like being with other men. Marvin Gaye found out about Teddy and he didn't like it. He had nothing to do with her sleeping with other guys she did that on her own read her book. She also slept with Rick James Marvin Gaye really didn't like that that was the last straw for him I'm glad I read the book...

As a Philly Native, we had "Philadelphia International Records or Philly International". Detroit had "Motown".....what's the difference ? Well, "Motown" used alot of bass, soul, & rhythm.....Now Philly International was considerd "Sophisticated Soul"....we would use more soft strings along with hypnotic bass & funk flavor......."Marvin" I believe could of been good for Philly International Records "Sophisticated Soul" but bring that "Detroit Soul Sound" with his conscious messages....he is dearly missed we will always.love him.....! 💯♥️♦️❤❤♠️♠️

No, but Marvin's uncle tried, or allegedly did molest him. I think Marvin might have worn a few articles of feminine clothing occasionally in his private time because he was trying to get a better understanding of his father, in an effort to connect with him. The little boy inside of Marvin was still hurting and confused. He really did need therapy. He was traumatized.

Good video, but I have to say this because this is how rumors become false truths. That's why people need to see and read things for themselves. 1). I just read Divided Soul by David Ritz. No where in that book did David state that Marvin had on women's clothing in front of him. I mean no where. He states in conversation, Marvin told him, on special, private occasions, he liked to wear some articles of women's clothing because he liked the feel of them. That's it. What Marvin did have sitting on the table of his apartment was a graphic sadomasochistic book by a popular French artist. 2). According to Jan and Zeola, his sister, Marvin didn't set Jan up with Teddy or Rick James. She did that on her own. He also didn't watch Jan and Frankie B. She did the due with him on the sneak, but Marvin did encourage it, then got pissed later. In her book, there's only two times Jan mentioned Marvin getting physical with her. So, I'm not so sure he was always physically abusive. Zeola Gay aired Jan out in her book though. From the beginning of their relationship, innocent she was not. 3). He was also depressed over his divorce from Anna and the subsequent proceedings, which contributed to the deterioration of his relationship with Jan. 4). Marvin didn't have sex with Anna's and Berry's niece Denise.

She didn't say that at all. That's why people have to read things for themselves. She stated she was pregnant at 18. She said they had sex when she was 17, a little after they met. And she lied about that, cuz she was actually 16 when they met.

The idea behind the song "What's goin' on" originally came from Obie Benson of The Four Tops. He was going to give the song to his group mates but they turned it down because it was a protest song. Later Benson offered it to Marvin Gaye. He passed on the song initially. Gaye wanted to give "What's goin' on" to the Originals. A vocal group he was producing at the time. However it was his first wife Anna who convinced Marvin to sing "What's goin' on".

Sadly, the Eric Michael Dyson biography on Marvin has his sister Jeannie saying that she and Marvin were raped by a recently paroled uncle of theirs while he stayed with them. When Marvin told his dad, the father's reply was, "...my brother would never do that!" All Marvin was seeking was his dad's protection, and he didn't do it. This deepened the rift between father and son. In Marvin's brother's book, the brother said Marvin whispered to him before he died, "I couldn't do it myself, so I got dad to kill me."

Some people say Marvin Gaye Jr. was the way he was because he was on drugs, he was a womanizer, he was a drunk, he gave his parents a hard time, he misused his money, and etc. Like we never done nothing wrong! We all have! No one is perfect! We all made mistakes! We just need to learn from them and go on! If you have not made a mistake, just keep living, you will in this life! If we don't like no one to talk negative about us or our loved ones, we don't need to talk negative about others nor their loved ones either! Yeah, I'm guilty as well too! Time to talk positive about a person not negative that why it's so many suicides going on! Can you do the same?
