Tarantino thinks when directors like Billy Wilder and Hitchcock lost their talent at the end of their careers and he’s afraid of being like them so he vowed to stop making movies before he reaches that era of his career. And Jackie Brown is Tarantino’s best and most underrated film

Tina Sinatra handpicked the person who played her Frank Sinatra in the recent pre-Broadway musical version of Sinatra because she cared so much that the person really embody her dad and Leonardo Dicaprio definitely does not.

The Hateful Eight was a theatrical movie experience. He shot it in 70 mm, I got to see it in 70 mm at the Hollywood Theater in Portland, OR when it was first released. Watching the sweeping shots of snow covered mountains took my breath away. It sucked me in with every line of dialogue, I felt like i was in that cabin. I want to see Kill Bill 3 with Uma and Maya fighting together against some baddies. Daryl Hannah's character could be alive... Thanks for a great stream, Grace!

My mom’s uncle was the bar owner and pimp that Sinatra reached out to whenever he was here in Delaware. My great-uncle “procured” young women for Sinatra at the bar he owned! The bar is long gone, but the building it was in the penthouse of still stands.

At this point Jesus is less of “an actual person in history” and more of an idealised figure where people project themselves onto him. If white christians want a white god figure to respresent them, and the movie is made by them, for them, i don’t understand this obsession with him being brown.

I love both Kill Bill volumes, they’re so different and well made. I sometimes just watch vol 1 and sometimes just watch vol 2. So happy Disneyland forward got approved can’t wait to hear more about what they got planned at D23. Also Ratatouille, Mickeys Runaway Railway and Rise of the Resistance felt very different to me. Very much want to go to an Oogie Boogie party. It works so well partly because the quality of actors at Disneyland are just way better than those at Disneyworld.

I'm surprised that zendaya and maya hawk names were mentioned as suggestions or Maya even replacing Uma or playing younger. But Tarantino himself already said that if he did kill bill 3, it would be Maya playing the daughter of the Bride (uma) and Zendaya playing the daughter of Copper head (Vivica) and Uma would still be her character. Tarantino already have an idea for Kill Bill 3, but his 10 movie policy may be on the way of we getting it 😞

I don't get why people are so convinced Tarantino won't retire after his next film. I get that's his main thing but movies aren't the only way to tell a story. If he comes up with another idea he could just write it as a play, or TV miniseries, or a novel. I also agree, The Hateful Eight was a good movie but kind of pointless, should've just kept it as a play as he intended, the whole thing felt like kind of a waste of time, only good thing was getting one last great score out of Ennio Morricone

I’m surprised you didn’t think Galaxy’s edge was complete. I didn’t get to go for years and when I finally did, I loved it! My friend and I had got the pictures taken with the characters added. Rise of the Resistance felt like being in a movie. Pandora is definitely lacking, but I loved Galaxy’s edge.
@mylessmith80596 ай бұрын
I think the complete opposite lol Pandora is a masterpiece imo, while the promise of galaxy’s edge (and what you’d think a Star Wars theme park could be) is better then what we have at the moment
@kthanna086 ай бұрын
@@mylessmith8059 I like Pandora, especially at night, but it’s small. I don’t think there’s as much of the extras, like the photos and the light saber building store like there is in Galaxy’s edge. Also, for me, since Pandora has a lot of containers, it doesn’t feel as permanent. It’s accurate to the movie, so I get it, but that’s just a minor personal opinion. Honestly really enjoy both. Mostly nitpicking.

Star Trek needs a series based on other races other then the Federation. Focusing on say their view of the universe and why they view it that way. We have seen way too much on the Federations point of view on how the Universe should be run. Would love to see the Romulan world and how it relates to how the Vulcans and Romulans are related from way way back. hel I would love to see how the Vulcans evolved, even though we have seen a little of that. Maybe Tarantino could do a Star Trek like that.
