The only reason you don’t have a bigger channel than mine is because your audience hasn’t found you yet. Seriously, the editing and storytelling on your channel are top-tier. I have a whole list of weird glitches I found while theory crafting a testing to find this exploit. I'm thinking about making a video just showing all the bugs I couldn't find a use for. some of them even make the fight harder funnily enough

@KyleHead I mentioned it in the video, but I really don't think that this exploit is even that bad for the game. Your better prepared for the early game but that's it. Hopefully larian doesn't patch this one out. But if they do I'll make another video

@@RoseKnight I totally agree. I’m an optimizer at heart and can’t help myself from squeezing every xp from a scenario when possible. I just like getting to level 4 or 5 asap so I can start having fun with various builds.

Minor optimization, put your preferred attack in your custom hotbar so you can pass turn with spacebar and target a consistent point on the screen. You can remove all the targeting irritation

You know I totally forgot to test this out. All I can say for certain is that the fear debuff no longer drags you into combat, so I like our chances for hex

Quick tip, not sure if it was covered in the Optimized Section of the video: If you are a fellow crossbow user without Cantrips, you can get change the Disadvantaged up to a normal 40% by spending a turn Hiding instead of 2 shooting. From my experience, this is a good bit quicker.

Pretty creative, if the point is to avoid save scumming as much as possible. I have a strategy completely locked in for this that works on Tactician, but saving and reloading is absolutely necessary for it. I don't mind though.

You dont need to go in combat with the cultist before.. just do everything else and place your character in that position, also makes it way faster.

I was theory crafting for a couple of days. I had an idea to lure the cambions to the lower deck where I could have a nautiloid tank set up to push them off the side of the ship. I decided that the cambions were too strong and would outrun and kill me too quickly. so I woke up Francis and Derrick with the hope that they would be attacked instead of me, just to give me a little bit of extra time. Everything was set up perfectly, but when I attacked the first cambion, he didn't become aggressive toward me. After that, the rest is history.
