BGE Accessories: Kick Ash Basket and Kick Ash Can

The awesome family who owns Kick Ash Basket was gracious enough to send me a Kick Ash Basket and their all new Kick Ash Can. Both products are made from high quality stainless steel and come with a 3 year warranty. I can't wait to see how well they work! This video is just showing the products and giving a few details I like about them. I will record a follow up video after a few cooks so I can share my feedback.

I'm just now getting into a Kamado. I enjoyed watching your kickash basket video. From what I've seen in other kamado cooks in the early days, the ash issue restricting air flow was big. It's easy to see how this basket accessory solves that. Great info.

One of the few items that I use every single cook with the BGE. That and an instant read thermometer. Unfortunately their products are now made outside of the United States. They're still a Wisconsin company but the product is no longer made here in the US. Great product otherwise!

Could you do me a big favor. It's been a couple days, and I haven't had any response from Chad's YT Channel or his online site after sending a note to his customer contact info page. I just aquired a SNS Kamado from Adrenaline BBQ. I ordered the Kick Ash basket from him, but SNS didn't offer the can. The bottom of the charcoal well on the SNS Kamado is 8 1/2 inches across, and just under 4 inches tall. Will the can you have fit down in a charcoal well this size? I want to order one from the KAB online store, but want to make sure it will fit. If you could measure your can across the bottom, and height and let me know if the yours would fit into the charcoal well of the sizes above, I'd really appreciate it. They said 700° is safe but getting up to 900° isn’t.
