She deserves all the recognition. No matter how many people i listen too, Loren remains the "owner of the song". Beautiful... I would also like to give recognition to Rebecca Ferguson who allowed Loren to sing this song. Its fantastic..

To me, Lauren's is probably one of the very best musical performances I have ever heard, and her presence does come across as humble in this venue. I like Angelina Jordan and find her exceptional also. I must say I like your method of evaluation.

Loren's Mother is a Music Professor and Voice Coach and her Father is a Conductor. Loren has been performing Never Enough, Live since 2018, most notably with David Foster in 2020. What I would like to know is, just exactly who are you, to decide who does this and that in their performance??? I have watched several of these so called voice coaches saying Loren did this and Loren did that! Who the blue-blazes, are these self-appointed critics, who think they have a right to judge... anybody???
@wilfredoaying9302 жыл бұрын
If that’s the case why would she go to audition on a BGT..whats not fair she’s a season pro and yet she’s going against amateur , she’s taking away the thunder , from the amateur contestant don’t you think??🇨🇦

The real aim of this channel is actually to educate, but I’ve discovered that these videos are connecting with entirely the wrong age demographic, so in the next few weeks I’ll be revising the entire channel after this first batch of videos. The real goal is help young people master the fundamentals of creating great entertainment, not just to be viewed as some kind of armchair critic, and I’ve discovered with these first few videos that the channel is heading weyyyyy of course from its intended destination.
@shocksandfeelers2 жыл бұрын
There’s a lot of people in the UK that felt the same way after her Golden Buzzer audition first aired on TV.
@shocksandfeelers2 жыл бұрын
Artur, the goal of this video isn’t to criticise and condemn, it’s actually to help educate younger people who are trying to build careers in the entertainment industry by using Loren as an example. Her performance is an opportunity to illustrate a principle, that’s all.

I would absolutely love to. Frustratingly for me and my brand new channel (started in the side of my “day job”), I’ve been landed with a bucketload of work deadlines smack-bang in the middle of the entire period of the finals, and I’m unlikely to emerge from this heavy workload for several weeks, so as much as it really does break my heart to be missing all the action, it looks like the next videos will be in a few weeks, and I’ll probably start fresh, reviewing the work of Top Ten Global Biggest Artists.

You should see her KZbin channel, performing this same song on PBS with David Foster 2 yrs ago. It sounds even better because she didn't have to play-act like she's some scared little rabbit onstage. LOL Or how about her video of her singing live on stage right next to Bocelli? Everyone should ask themselves why as a professional singer did she fly all the way to the UK to steal some local's dreams? She competed on The Voice USA 9 yrs ago on Adam's team. That's where she got her start...and she wasn't scared of any major stages she's been on.

So how would you critique Morisette Amon , a Filipina diva with her version of Never Enough, in concert and in a cover on Radio Station 107.5. Looking forward to your evaluation.
@shocksandfeelers2 жыл бұрын
I watched the Wish 107.5 version (better sound recording than the live recording) and it was absolutely gorgeous. I’m not a vocal coach, so my analysis doesn’t focus around an artists vocal performance, but she really did sound beautiful.

You kept saying don't hate me. We hate you. No just kidding. Seriously. Don't hate you at all. You're review was so different from the othres, as well as the voice coaches. Thank You for that. I will definitely follow you on You Tube. I learned something today. I give her a 9 for emotional reaction. Here's why. I bet over the last wek I have watched this a dozen times. That is an eootionally based physical reaction. Additonally, I have watched other songs that she has done. She has earned a fan here. I want to hear more of her. A 1 for surprize. I disagree, but will give her a 6. After the initial surprize, I thought there was a mismatch between her and the other competitors, so that took away surprize points. She's a pro from the beginning and we all knew that. So then I had her at about a 3. In the son'g she showed temendous emotional and voice fluctuations, and she also raised her octave range, that I was not expecting 2/3 through and at the end. Blew us all away. I was also surprized by her lower voice early on to begin and then at the end her almost whisper high pitch. I thought you'd be ower on repeatability. I defer to your rating on that. I would give her a 5 couse who could repear that. On AGT she sounded like Mariah Carey at one point.

I WAS NOT SUPER IMPRESSED WITH THIS GUY THAT MAY HAVE ALL THE KNOWLEDGE HE IS SUPPOSED TO HAVE. HE IS TALKING WHEN ONE OF THE JUDGES ARE SPEAKING. RUDE! THIS MAN SEEMS TO HAVE A HUGE EGO. IF I AM WRONG, I WOULD APOLOGIZE. BUT I STILL AM NOT SUPER IMPRESSED WITH THE PERSONALITY OF THIS MAN, AS I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE WATCHED THE PERFORMANCE WITHOUT HIS ON THE SCREEN. LATER, AFTER LOREN FINISHED SINGING, AND ALL THE JUDGES GAVE THEIR OPINIONS, THEN, FINE THE MAN COULD "REAPPEAR." LOREN, YOU ARE A GIFT FROM GOD. YOU WERE ABOVE THE GOLD STANDARD, AS YOU HAD US ALL FLOATING IN THE CLOUDS WITH YOUR PERFORMANCE, YOUR PRESENCE, YOUR HUMILITY. THANK YOU, LOREN FOR THIS AUDITION OF A LIFETIME! AND YES, THERE WAS EMOTION FROM PEOPLE. NOT SURE WHY THIS MAN DID NOT DETAIL THAT.

How does this guy even come close to wanting to talk about anything negative about Lauren at this part of her career she’s gonna be great why did you have to bring in a negative.
@shocksandfeelers2 жыл бұрын
It’s not personal to Loren. Have you seen any of the other videos I made for the other BGT contestants? This is a new channel, so creating content in between family life and a day job is tricky, but I’ve discovered that there’s enormous interest globally in Loren, versus almost no interest in any other BGT act, so, consequently, I made a couple of other follow-on videos for Loren, but the real goal isn’t to slate Loren or any other performer, but to use their performances to illustrate core principles of great entertainment… surprise and emotion. What looks like a negative gripe, the low score for surprise, will be the subject of another video at some point because this is the reason why musical performers create dazzling music videos rather than just upload videos of themselves standing in front of a microphone and singing. The lack of surprise in a musical performance is a well-known problem in the entertainment industry, and that’s why huge amounts of money and effort goes into creating that element of “surprise” through carefully, calculated music videos or in live performances, there are elaborate light shows, backing dancers, costumes, pyrotechnics and other props as well as guest performers etc.

Loren is on Tic Toc (and/or KZbin) with little videos of her but the last one wasn't a good idea. Loren is proud of her new piano... it gives the impression she is rich and maybe a little spoiled. I still love her amazing performance but someone needs to inform her about being humble... I don't mean to be so critical but inflation around the world is going through the roof and in America mothers are having a hard time finding baby formula. A little spoiled is not a good look in these difficult times for anyone. Having said all this, Loren did perform amazing on the night! Good luck in the semifinals Loren! 🤣😂😅
@shocksandfeelers2 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Chuck! I’ll go follow her. You may have noticed I’ve revised this first video of my own entirely to pay careful attention to “the room”. It’s a really important principal for both Loren, myself and everybody with an audience, from ShowBiz to politics to business professionals… we all need to be sensitive to the zeitgeist… the mood of the moment. Get it right, and you can connect with your audience in deeply personal ways. Get it wrong… ouch!
@trishalivingston10512 жыл бұрын
Baby formula is available via Canada where there is no shortage. Also, there is an old recipe used by our grandmothers using condensed milk. Look for it online, it is available.

Did you stay up all night looking for something to be critical about. Maybe she was exuberantly happy. I don't believe anybody was trying to be spoiled? Her performance was incredible, maybe it filled her up and spilled over.... But spoiled? How could anybody who sang a song like that and never really got total credit for it be spoiled. Maybe exuberantly happy after the performance

As a non professional, i disagree...i think it gets old when a performer becomes monolithic and stuck in a particular vocal technique that may have brought them to prominence like minnie ripperton or niecey williams...some artists masterfully strike a balance between just enough and TOO much like whitney or to some extent mariah carey
@donahunt8326 ай бұрын

@shocksandfeelers2 жыл бұрын
It's always worth noting the "surprise" measure because songs (and performances) can sometimes do the unexpected and surprise you. Great example is Wellerman by Nathan Evans (the TikTok enhanced version that went viral). The surprise came when the other guys joined in. The first time I heard it gave me goosebumps. If you've never heard it, grab your headphones and take an uninterrupted listen for 2 minutes: kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5jWpqWGnJ52odk
