BH Practise Runout #2

Our next vid is our second runout from today. It’s a pretend “endurance test” as the BH is typically an ~8min long obedience routine combined with an 8-9 min long down under distraction. I wanted to see how much Sunny had left in her tank to perform this routine a second time.

This is good training for duration focused heeling, which is different to going for long hikes to improve fitness (which still helps) but isn’t the same. We had some fun off leash dogs as distractions today. They were well trained and we shared the field.
There’s lots of long pauses and awkwardness.. to try and replicate a trial where there’s lots of waiting. I make some mistakes in the formalities and the figure 8 and the return to start mark isn’t well executed lol but it was good fun today. 😍
