23.07.2023 Hari Om Yogishri 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you Guruji for the powerful messages in today’s discourse. Pranams Swamiji 🙏🙏🙏 In Yogic approach we convert each and every principle into Sadhana. Student generally requires motivation, for that purpose the master gives him some higher experiences to inspire him to do regular Sadhana. As the whole thing is a long-drawn process, the master gives healing energy which resolves many things in our life. Student should not be contended with those higher experiences but pursue his Sadhana with more vigour and stop not until he experiences the highest, as that is the purpose of our life. It is always very easy to lose faith but it requires continuous perseverance to gain faith on the higher and keep developing on that faith further and further until we achieve our ultimate purpose of life. Based on our maturity, the master keeps giving us direct Sadhana principles for our development. We should develop uncompromising attitude for everything we do in life. We should follow these three aspects in our life I) going through our life with the intensity and lots of focus, 2) never compromise on quality, 3) do it with depth (doing things in a deeper way) Only when we grow through our experiences, we will outgrow them. It is important that we learn from our experiences. Whatever action we do, do it in the best possible way for our own satisfaction. Our one action done with intensity and quality is equivalent to millions of actions. Depth in our experiences is equally very important. The choice we make in our life determines our growth. Actual freedom in life is following the basics rules and doing things with voluntary discipline. No pain, no gain. When we voluntarily take up discipline understanding its value, we can go through the pain the conviction that it will give us lots of benefits in the long run. We can achieve anything in life, when we are willing to pay the price for the same. When we value something, we can go through any amount of pain to achieve it. Thanks again for the amazing meditation session Yogishri 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you Yogishri for a deep discourse today. To exercise an amount of discipline is very important in life. Niyama gives you the freedom in the way that you enjoy. Ni refers to the intensity, quality and depth of an experience. It is important that we go b rules because that is the first step in controlling the mind. With the good comes the responsibility, the efforts to be put in into something to make it happen. We receive something when there is effort. As saadaks, we should continue our saadna even when we have divine experience. We are helped by our Guru, inspired and motivated by him to pursue our goals and we must continue our efforts and not let tamas set in. Intense experience is one which is not superficial. We need to realize the difference between licentiousness and freedom. It is important to be disciplined and not use the principles to support the wrong act. We must have an uncompromising attitude. Thank you Yogishri. 🙏

Pranam Yogishri Thank you very much for today's Divine session, for the yogic principles, and the Sadhana. Yogishri we are blessed to be motivated, inspiring. Ni - * uncompromising attitude in doing positive actions, * going through positive experiences Intensely, Focused; mind runs here and there, Sadhana is to bring back the mind Focus in what action we are doing - is the key. * Quality - increase the quality, doing actions in best possible way like with awareness, alert, cleanliness. * Depth - getting attuned to the depth of the experiences; for our spiritual growth. High quality life. Yama - Discipline fundamentally Discipline taken up voluntarily *very important in life, to be applied - manasa, training the mind. Doing anything you like is licentiousness. Do anything you like with Discipline is Freedom. Life should be punctuated with certain disciplines, good rules; otherwise mind becomes chaotic. Making choice of good habits in life - is by understanding the value of it, taking up the action voluntarily, put all necessary efforts, bearing the pain (no force), with cheer, building consistency. Yogishri i choose to do Sadhana in all aspects Voluntarily, with internal cheer and complete surrender. Thank you Yogishri HARI OM

Hari 🕉 Yogishri 🙏🙏🙏 🕉 Shri Gurubhyo Namaha 🙏🙏🙏 Thankyou Sir for an amazing discourse. ***All the Divine experiences have to be used to inspire and motivate you, to build stronger faith & confidence to do deeper -consistent sadhana with great intensity and forge towards the ultimate goal of self-realisation/enlightenment. ***Direct sadhana principles to be applied practically : discipline the mind & be detached as you engage in karma yoga. ***To grow spiritually and to make your life v.powerful , start having an uncompromising attitude with respect to: 1. Intensity which comes when you do with full focus [grow with spiritual maturity], 2. 100% Quality which makes your act very powerful [give your best & enhance the experiences of life] 3. Depth in perception [not acting in a superficial and mechanical way] while you carry on the activities of life in every aspect of life & choose positive things in life. ***Licentiousness with voluntary discipline is true freedom, with responsibility which comes by understanding the logic/value behind it, as it helps protect you from chaos in life. ‘’I choose to do this happily/voluntarily’’ - use this bhavna to build good habits. Consistency is the formula for success. The homeworks you are giving is really helping us to look inward and certain truths which are revealed are shocking ….u have helped us take it in the right perspective and rectify us and evolve into a better person. Thankyou soo much Sir. 🕉 Shri Gurubhyo Namaha 🙏🙏🙏 Your humble sadhak Anushka Ram.

Hari Om Gurudev🙏🙏🙏💐🍬. Thank You so much for today's session. Some points to ponder: The Yogic approach gives us a deeper understanding and penetration of the Principles of life. The Master gives us the experience through Sadhana and motivates us to put more effort to improve and purify ourselves. Niyama means discipline. Ni has three aspects: Intensity: We should experience our life in a intensified way. This should bring in a change and maturity in us. We should outgrow our experiences and move further. Quality: never compromise on the quality of work or the experience. We need to focus and do our duty for our satisfaction and not for the completion. Depth: We should feel the experience fully. Feel and expressing our emotions naturally. Yama: discipline We need to fix certain disciplines in order to streamline our life , grow and be successful. Voluntary Discipline : when we are forced to follow some discipline it become drudgery. But by analyzing the benefits and outcomes of the discipline to be followed , we will be inspired, and we will get a feel of happiness even though there is some amount of pain involved in following it. This helps us to go through the stream with consistency. Left to our mind, it tends to laze around and pull us down. Sadhana: To look into ourselves and to find out aspects where we need to bring in discipline. Thank You Holy Master for everything 🙏🙏🙏🪷. Deepest gratitude and humble pranams.

Humble pranams, Yogishri🙏🙏🙏 Many, many thanks for today's very powerful discourse followed by very soothing and deep meditation. Motivation comes when I get inspired. Masters motivate the students by sending healing energy. Once some problems get resolved, tamas may overtake and the mind may gets satisfied by that result. But we should keep reminding ourselves of the ultimate purpose in life which is to become one with the infinite and keep on working towards that. Ni means intensely. We should focus on the three aspects of Ni. 1. Intensity We should keep on intensely focus on the task at hand and be alert. 2. Quality We should aim for producing the highest quality in whatever we undertake. No compromise. 3. Depth We should live a deep life not a superficial one. Today our emotions have become superficial and lack depth. That is why we are unable to be joyful. Smile inside before sending the smiley emoji. Homework 1: To find how much of uncompromising attitude I have in terms of intensity, quality and depth Yama means discipline. Discipline helps us from accidents. Freedom is nothing but voluntary discipline. Licentious discipline is doing whatever I like whether it is good or bad. This leads to accidents. Niyamas protect us from falling. My life should be punctuated by discipline. How to gain control over my mind ? 1. By bringing discipline in my life 2. By having voluntary discipline and not forced one The reason I am not being disciplined today is because it causes certain amount of sacrifice and pain. But I should learn to endure the pain in order to achieve greater success. Willpower is good for me even if it causes temporary pain. How to form a good habit? I choose to do this task voluntarily. I choose to do this with enjoyment. Homework 2 : What are the good habits that I need to inculcate? Why am I not doing this today? Thank you so much, Yogishri for finding the various blocks in my mind and helping me overcome those week after week. Very very grateful to you. Ananta koti pranams to you🙏🙏🙏

Hari Om Guruji, Pranaams 🙏 Thanks for the yet another powerful session and the energy blast today. The Central theme today being how to take or bring in discipline voluntarily in our life so that we can get maximum benefit and grow spiritually and worldly. The difference between licentiousness and freedom was very powerful. Spirituality per se does not prohibits us from doing anything but all it does or ask to do things with bringing in sime discipline. This verse is a direct message from the master and we neef to absorb and apply the same to make our personality grow. The word NE with its dimension, depth, quality and intensity and yama which is discipline as well as voluntary taking up discipline are powerful principle for our grwoth and moving up in the path of karma yoga. Thanks once again for the powerful session today. Sadhak- Narayan V.

Hari AUM. Thank you Sri Yogishri for a wonderful pravarchanam. In yogic method every verse in Bagavathgita described is converted into sadana resulting in a rich experience. Some verses give direct sadana messages which need our intense attention, since they help in the evolution of spiritual path. One’s effort is essential for transformation. In addition, one needs motivation since the spiritual path is a long winding road. One needs to be careful about the freedom of choice that exists. Tamasic quality interferes with progress on the spiritual path. Tamas can happen even in an advanced practitioner. A guru would warn a student about the tamasic quality. It is easy to lose faith in sadana practice. Hence, inspiration is essential to overcome obstacles in one’s spiritual path. Inspiration and sadana are essential for spiritual progress which one finds in the present verse. One needs to have an uncompromising attitude in executing sadana and positive choices. Ni means quality and depth in addition to intensity. The lack of intensity leads to inertia without progress. Intensity is essential to avoid inertia. The respect for elders is for their wisdom and experience, If experiences are incomplete, they may manifest later in life as something unwanted. One must never compromise on quality. One must always aim higher. One must undertake any activity in depth. Nataraja denotes cosmic dance of divinity. Krishna is a personification of cheer. Satvic life is essential for spiritual progress. Sadana of ni helps to develop the three above qualities i.e., quality, depth, and intensity. Yama stands for discipline or rules which is essential in life and is directed towards the mind. License is doing anything good that one opts for and when license is combined with discipline it prevents one from devolving. Controlling the mind prevents it from roaming everywhere. Niyama also means voluntarily accepting discipline rather than forcibly accepting it. Consistent practice of good things (sadana, kriyas etc.) over time results in developing positive values voluntarily. Sadana is to practice niyama in personal habits such as eating, practicing sadana, sleeping, listening to Bagavathgita etc. Thank you Sri Yogishri for giving more sadana practice.

Hari Om Yogishri...Pranams... --> Today's discourse is highly valuable and beneficial. --> Through this verse, Lord Krishna is giving direct principles. He is telling directly, what we should do. --> In our life, consequences of past and purusartha (self effort), two parallel forces running. We should choose self efforts to really transform our life. --> Real transformation happens when principles are correctly followed. --> Guru keeps on motivating us tremendously throughout our journey and keeps giving principles. Our ultimate goal is to expand our consciousness and merge with infinite. Finding the purpose of life. --> Sometimes, we will get doubts about sadhna. At that time we should invoke our guru shakti and remove blocks. Its very easy to lose faith. Its highly difficult to build faith. --> The word Niyamya is divided into two parts -- Ni and Yama. The word Ni gives extra value to the word Yama. It means uncompromising attitude to quality in your actions. It has got three dimensions. Intensity, quality and depth in actions. --> Through intense experiences of life we will grow. We outgrow those experiences. --> The positive actions which we are performing in our day to life, should be full of quality. Negative actions, which we know very clearly, should be fully avoided. --> The actions which we perform should have full depth. --> Yama - Voluntary discipline in life. Undisciplined mind will sack our energy. If there is no discipline, there is no purpose in life. Actually, we feel real freedom, when we have voluntary discipline. Thank you very much Yogishri.

Namaskaram Yogishri, Thank you for the wonderful tips in this weeks discourse. I hope you have a wonderful week ahead. Enjoy the day, Donna Key Learnings: - It's important to understand the relationship between my destiny and the quantity and quality of my efforts. -I need to put in maximum effort in all my roles . -I must have an un-compromising attitude in all my roles. Without proper effort I will not get good results in my worldly and spiritual life -Three areas to not compromise on (all interrelated) Intensity (full focus), quality, and depth -Big lesson for me to understand: If I don't complete an experience it will cause me problems down the road. Reflect on this. -Do everything with a pure heart with my maximum effort. Doing this will give me peace that I've done my best to achieve my desired result. -Homework: Reflect on the good habits I need to make sure I do in life, ie, eating on time, sleeping on time, etc. Question: Would it possible to expand on the point about the importance of completing an experience, when it fits into the discourse? Thanks so much.

Hari Om Yogishri, Thank You so much for the powerful discourse... As sadhaks we should not stop our sadhana at any cost, let any experience hit us from the worst to the divine experience we should consider all of it as a challenge for us to get inspired and keep moving on for the highest. The different aspects of of (NI) are - 1. Intensity - That is how inPaiyan weight aa kaamikiraan ahm aaatensely are we going through an experience. The amount if focus which is used when undergoing every experience... 2. Quality - We have to deliver tye best in all that we do. Starting from our thoughts to the actions everything should be to the best in terms of quality. 3. Depth - We should start becoming more more deep in terms of our perceptions. All these three qualities are related with each other. Once one aspect is practiced the other aspects will also join in hands with each other. The other dimension of niyamya is that of discipline but not just discipline, it is discipline out of choice. We need to realize that the temporary pain which we undergo when following a discipline is just temporary but in the long term it leads to success. The payment for success is the pain which we undergo while undertaking the discipline. More so, it is we who consider it as a pain but when we start enjoying it, the whole process will becoming a taming exercise. Humble pranaams....Thank You once again Yogishri 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hari Om Yogishri Thanks much for today's wonderful and informative session Few points I am able to recollect from today's session :- The entire Bhagavad Gita consists of verses where Lord Krishna gives us the message either directly or indirectly. Sadhaks need to be ready & immediately absorb the messages when Krishna gives the message directly. This is one such deep verse. Although Krishna uses the words like Thu, Yaha saha which don't seem to be filled with messages, as we penetrate using the Yogic approach a sea of wisdom can flow if attuned to the master. In this verse, he highlights the importance of 3 things :- Quality, Intensity and Depth. We need to look for quality & improve the quality in every action we do as part of Karma Yoga and make sure we give 100% quality in whatever we do. We need to focus fully and intensely on our actions. We need to have depth and clarity in each and every thing we do in our lives. These 3 things form a great combination and help any achiever achieve the fullest in terms of his life in any given field. The home work w.r.t to this aspect is to check these 3 things in each activity we do and get a mental picture in terms of percentage of how much we achieve and slowly start improving as we start looking at the next few verses. The next sadhana is of Discipline vs licentiousness, where following rules and regulations and living a disciplined life leads to great amount of control and in-built protection.. whereas licentiousness is free-willed and can lead to a mess and confusion. It is great to know that you had mentioned about will power today, as my father used to keep telling me that will power is really important in life. His words & experience of hearing it are still ringing in my ears as I heard you tell the same. Also, wanted to let you know after doing last week's Sadhana (I was very late in doing the Sadhana tip of simply observing the mind but however, did it a couple of times.. ) it was really amazing to see how the mind goes through a varied range of emotions & thought patterns in the course of time. At times the mind was projecting sorrow out of nowhere and at times a feeling of stress was engulfing it , or clouding it.. it was really a thing, to just observe the mind .. after that I was quickly able to move out of that sorrow or stress and start focusing on something more positive.. like looking around and observing things, or planning for something ahead of me. So this way, the mind can really be controlled and a lot of energy that's really being lost can be conserved.. Thanks much Yogishri for imparting such great but subtle techniques to enrich our lives truly! Somehow not able to recollect the second homework which you had given. Will watch the session again to get that tip also. Hari Om With great regards Subramanyan

Hari Om Sir, Namasthe! Thank you very much for the session today! Notes from today's session: ----------------------------------------------- --- 2 things needed for achieving success in Spiritual path : Getting inspiration and Continuity in Sadhana --- Lord Krishna gives that Inspiration to us directly in this verse by saying many keywords like manasa (mind's control will help), niyama (displace), Tu (but whoever becomes discipline in directing their energies towards positive path will get success), Vishishyathe - (bound to gain success in their path) --- Similarly, the Master gives the higher experiences for inspiration every now and then, that will inspire us to do our sadhana in a more diligent way. --- Hanuman giving Rama's ring to Sita was an assurance to reach Rama. --- By invoking Guru Shakthi during the time of crisis, it will help us resolve the issue on hand. - Ni in Niyama : Means uncompromising attitude towards the positive habits in life. 3 aspects of Ni: ------- Intensity - intensity of any experience - We go thru experiences without gaining wisdom out of that experience and do not often learn from that experience. We should start going thru every experience of us in an intense way so we complete our experience and learn the wisdom from that experience. - How do we experience in an intense way ? By having complete focus. - As a child, complete your experiences by playing with toys, etc - As an employee, complete your experiences in an intense way by having complete focus on it. ------- Quality - - Have quality in what do you. - Our Puranas mention about uttering once the name of Shri Hari will attain us moksha. - This was said in a context of 100% quality when a person connects to the name of Shri Hari will complete faith that is when he attains liberation. - Experience comes with age but only when we learn the wisdom thru the experiences. ------- Depth - - Whatver we do should have a depth in it and a complete reasoning of why we do it - We need to understand the benefits of doing something, and not just mechanically do it. - For example - Significance of focusing on the Infinite during ShivRatri, Krishna Jayanathi, etc and by understanding what is the reason we do these festivities. When we apply ourselves with all these 3 qualities (Niyama) in any area of application, we are bound to get success (Vishishyathe) for that application --- Niyama: Discipline by choice - voluntary discipline ------------------------------------------------------------------ - Spirituality does not restrict your freedom of being Licentious. Spirituality helps you put your rules together around the freedom so you do not fall into any accidents in life. - Being licentious means letting loose ourselves without having a purpose in life - Having discipline will help us set up rules for ourselves and be more careful in our life so we do not fall trap for any negative habits or lethargy. - Why do we not follow any good habits despite knowing that they would give us tremendous help In life? It is because were do not know the value and the benefits of following it. Once we know the value of it, we will definitely follow them thru. Sadhana task: ---------------------- - Identify the list of good disciplines you want to follow and follow them diligently and give it about 3 months. - for example - eating on time will make you physically strong, waking up early, doing daily exercise and Sadhana in early morning. Thank you very much, Sir.

HariOm Yogishri 🙏 Namaha 😊 Thank You for the very powerful and lovely session. These sessions motivate all of us tremendously and makes us feel stronger individuals. They are really life transforming. Adding a lot of value to our lives. The takeaway: HEAVEN IS HAPPINESS OF OUR EXPERIENCES. Our lives should become divine by awakening the consciousness within. 👍 The ascent of our experiences from physical identification to emotional, to thoughts and finally to the Infinite identification is a great thought and a great principle to practice. This practice can really take me to my goal. Will do some contemplation tonight. What really was hard hitting was the revelation that Ramayana is also written by Ved Vyasa. Must read that. The narration of Prahalad’s story was very inspiring. Very very difficult to reach that state of consciousness. Atleast reaching 50% of that will be fabulous 😊 The meditation was very calming with the OM chanting adding a lot of purity. Like the SRI HARI which was mentioned last week. Thank You once again, Sir. Sadhak 😊

Hari Om Yogishri, Thank you so much for today's discourse and meditation. Some important points from today's discourse: - 3 points in sadhana of yama: 1. Depth 2. Quality 3. Intensity Anything we do using the three aspects mentioned above, will definitely lead to success. Freedom means doing what we like with discipline. It is not being able to do anything you please. That will lead to chaos only. Whenever we are incorporating a good habit, it's best to do it in a positive manner rather than a drudgery. Thank you so much Yogishri 🙏

Thank you so much Yogishri for this deep session Dimensions of Ni 1. Intensity Unless you do everything or go through everything in your life in an intense way you will not be able to fulfil your experiences 2. Quality Everything that you take up should be of the highest quality. When you are giving your hundred percent you are training your mind. 3. Depth Every action that you take up must be conducted in deep manner as against a superficial way. Yam refers to discipline Freedom vs licentiousnes One might think of discipline as putting blocks in our freedom. However, freedom without discipline will lead to accidents and licentiousness. Freedom pertains to choosing what is good for you and discipline is choosing to voluntarily take up pain in order to gain what we want.

Hari Om GuruDev, Thanks a ton for today's session which was so much inspiring. The nididyasana sadhana was so empowering. Feeling so cheerful and calm after today's session. Some points from today's session:- In the spiritual progress, we have to get inspired always and we must never settle down with the progress which we attain. NI - Intensity, Quality and Depth i) We must always be focused in whatever we do to attain the intensity of our experiences. ii) We must never compromise in the quality of whatever work we do. Compromising in the quality of the work will reduce its power. We should always choose the best quality particularly in the positive things. iii) We have to feel the emotions in whatever we do to attain the depth in our experiences. YAMA - Discipline, Volunteering discipline We have to enjoy our freedom subjected to certain discipline. We have to follow certain disciplines in life for our self progress, benefits and success. We have to choose being disciplined. Discipline when forced, we won't follow it wholeheartedly and even if we follow it, we will follow it for a while and later on drop it. While we follow certain disciplines we will go through some suffering as the mind doesn't like to be disciplined. We have to choose being disciplined so we will do anything to achieve it wholeheartedly. We have to endure the pain which we go through while bringing the in the voluntary discipline in our mind. We have to choose being disciplined voluntarily with happiness and endure the pain. Infinte thanks to you GuruDev for everything. Deepest Gratitude and Humble Pranams.

Hari Om Yogishri, Points to ponder: Niyamya ni means (i) intensity, fully focussed...undergo your experiences with full focus. (ii) quality...have an uncompromising attitude in positive things...aim for the best. (iii) depth. Yama means discipline, voluntary discipline....doing whatever you want to do with discipline is freedom...if you want to achieve something, you have to be willing to pay the price, that is willingly undergo the pain to achieve the goal. Thanks a ton Yogishri

First step to bring in discipline in mind is voluntary discipline 3/ Licenciousness topped with Niyamah = freedom 4/ Sprituality does not force anything on you. It is about making right choices , use self discipline to train mind, bring in intensity and depth and achieve what ever you want . Thank you sir

Goodmorning Yogishri In this Sunday's session I learned Never compromise wrt Positive things for positive things in life Nee has 3 dimensions - Intensity, Quality and Depth Bring Intensity in whatever u do in life, do it with full focus Don't compromise on quality, work will loose its power Do it in Deep way, dont live superficially H.W. Find out how much compromising outcome u have Yama means discipline Niyama means Voluntary discipline If u choose the positive bhavana that I enjoy discipline then it will chnage from -ive to +ive. If you want to suceed in life practice Niyama H.w.2 Just analyze what are good habits you need to incorporate in life? Why is it you are not doing them? Then decide you choose to do this happily and see you get+ive results Thanks for the session With Deepest regards

Hari Om Yogishri 🙏 When direct messages are given, we need to be extra alert and absorb for effective growth. Permanent growth and transformation happen only when we follow the sadhana principles & practice diligently. Spiritual growth is a long lifetime process and we have to sustain our motivation throughout. Master helps the students with this. When we receive healing, we shouldn't give in to tamas or get stuck with the relative comfortable state and slacken our efforts. If we do this, we'll stop growing. The primary purpose of our life here is to grow and expand our consciousness. So we should use the motivation to progress further and do our sadhana with more enthusiasm, confidence and faith. Sadhana of Ni (Yama) - Intensity: Fully going through all the experiences. Do everything with full alertness and focus. Only when we complete the experiences this way, we can outgrow them. - Quality: Don't compromise on quality. When we focus on quality, our actions become very powerful. - Depth: Don't lead a superficial life. Do everything in a deep way. Sadhana of Yama Voluntary discipline. To be applied to the mind to train it. Discipline doesn't curb our freedom. Instead it helps us to prevent avoidable accidents/ problems and the resultant suffering. So understand the value of this and take up the disciplines voluntarily/ willingly. If these principles of Niyama are practiced, we'll be able to achieve our goals - worldly and spiritual. Thank you so much Yogishri 🙏

Hari Om Yogishri 🙏🏻 The Points learned in today's lecture are :- 1. As a sadhak we need inspiration to do our daily Sadhana. In entire Bhagavat Geeta, Lord Krishna inspires us to do our Sadhana. 2. Our Guru inspires us by sending healing energy. We should not just reveals in that healing energy but we must use it to move further in our Sadhana to reach to the ultimate state of स्थितप्रज्ञा: 3. नि: means Intensity, Quality & Depth of each and every experience we go through in our life with No Compromising Attitude in case of all these three aspects by choice. 4. We go mechanically through most of the experiences in our life. 5. यम: broadly means Decipline. There are two aspects of यम:.... First Decipline and Second is Volunteering Decipline. 6. Hari om Yogishri In Yogic approach everything is converted into Sadhana. Even from ordinary words, you can use the Yogic approach, derive the energy from it, and the infinite teaches you lot of things from these ordinary words. In this verse Krishna gives a direct message for spiritual development. When a direct message is given you have to be alert, because it will be powerful and when you absorb the energy of that message, it will create positive transformation in your life. *The real transformation happens only when you follow the Sadhana principle that the master gives.* You never get anything just like that in life. A master will not create a miraculous change in your life. Only when you follow the Sadhana tips given by the master, will you transform. Do Sadhana, purify your mind, expand your consciousness, and keep on progressing in the path of evolution towards infinite. For this you require motivation, because it's a lifelong process. In order to motivate the student, the master gives healing. Ultimate goal is to find out the purpose of your life. If Sadhana is stopped, tamas can take over, and you can get stuck. Niyamah: Here Yam is the Sadhana. Ni has three dimensions: intensity quality and depth. *Intensity:* Do any action with full focus and alertness. When you listen to the deeper messages with full intensity, you will receive it with lot of force. When you do some work, do it with focus. Doing Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana will help you build that focus. Only when you go through the experience in life in an intense way, you can outgrow them. *Quality:* Never compromise on quality. Work will lose it's power when you compromise on quality. When you increase quality, then even one action of yours becomes very powerful. *Depth:* Whatever you are doing in life, do it in a deep way. Don't lead a superficial life. Nowadays even emotions have become superficial. Become a deep person. Real Sadhna of Guru Purnima is to develop depth and get connected to the Guru Shakti Find out how much of uncompromising attitude you have with reference to intensity, quality and depth. This is the Sadhana of Ni which adds tremendous value to your life. Yam: Discipline which is very important in life. Apply this to your mind which is always indisciplined. First understand the difference between freedom and licentiousness. Licentiousness means doing anything that comes to your mind. This can make you go astray in life. Niyamah protects you from going astray. Discipline is to avoid accidents in life. First step in conquering your mind is to bring in voluntary discipline in your life. Voluntary discipline is something that is not forced on you. You take it a willingly. When discipline is forced on you, your heart will not be there, your mind will not be there. When you take up discipline voluntarily, there won't be a tussle within you. Example of a 13 year old girl wanting to have a baby and a baby born to its natural mother. I choose to do this voluntarily I choose to do this in a happy way I choose to do this with enjoyment You can achieve anything in life provided you are ready to pay the price for success. Niyamah is the price for success. Combine these two Sadhanas 1. Bring discipline 2. Bring discipline in life voluntarily When you practice these two sadhana's consistently, you are bound to reach your goal. This is a simple formula that can be applied in worldly and spiritual goal. This discipline can be brought in your food habits, physical exercises, sleep timings, doing Yoga Sankirtan Sadhana and listening to the Sunday discourses. Inspiration and Sadhana are the two things required for evolution in spiritual path. Pranams 🙏 #Yogishri

Namaste Yogishri! The topic of today's discourse is "niyama", which loosely translates to "rules" - When thinking of rules, one usually gets the question: why follow rules? Aren't they restricting one's freedom? The answer lies in the difference between freedom and licentiousness. In the latter, you do what you like without regard for whether it is good for you. But in the former, you decide whether what you like is good for you before doing it. - One of the meanings of niyama is "voluntary discipline" (Yama usually means discipline). It is interesting that people are happy to endure pain (upto some level) when they voluntarily choose to discipline themselves, but the same people suffer or complain if discipline was forced onto them. - Ni-yama. The "Ni" suggests intensity, quality and depth. One should try to improve these three aspects in everything that they do. - An age-old saying goes: it is enough to chant the name of "Sri Hari" once to attain moksha. The deeper principle is again highlighting the importance of quality (instead of quantity). Deepak

Points from the session today: *Niyama* *Ni* means .1. Intensity: we must go through all the experiences in our life intensely to outgrow them otherwise they will keep bothering us in some way or the other. This is the first step in spirituality. Whatever we are doing we must do it with full focus. .2. Quality: anything we do we must do it to the utmost quality. We must strive to bring perfection amd quality to any work that we do. We mist work for our satisfaction. So Ni means enhancing our life qualitatively .3. Depth: whatever we do in life we must do it in depth. We must not lead a superficial life. *yama* means discipline Being disciplined and following the rules Niyamas help us prevent going completely astray and losing ourselves. They do not curb our freedom. Freedom does not mean doing anything irrespective of the rules. This is licentiousness. We must have basic framework and rules according to our nature. If we don't formulate good rules in life then our mind will become chaotic. We must therefore bring in discipline in our life - Niyama. Yama not only means discipline but it means voluntary discipline. We must understand the value and logic of everything and then take it up willingly. Our heart and mind will not enjoy anything done out of force. But when we decide to follow anything willingly then we will not feel the external pressure. We will be able to endure the pain that comes in the way of what we are doing. When the mind takes up something voluntarily then the tussle will not be there. To achieve anything in life we must practice niyama. This will build consistency in our actions. When we practice niyama in the areas where we lack it then it will build tremendous energy in that area.
