This song was written By Bendre ji when he lost one of his children during its birth. He was travelling from Pune to home. His wife was about to deliver a baby that day. Suddenly while travelling he felt what if this child also dies. Then he wrote this song in bus. Unfortunately the situation was the same. His 4 or 5 children died in front of him. each time he wrote beautiful meaningful poems and expressed his sorrow. This song is one among them. -This information was given by his son Dr. Vamana Bendre to me when i visited their house.

DR Bendre: He writes this song when he was traveling from Pune to his native. He lost 4 infants during birth. His wife was about to deliver a baby. He assumes that this kid may not servive and eventually die. But how face his wife if the baby is dead? His assumption was true when I reach his home. So he was in immense pain which he could not express his feelings to his wife.

I can't imagine how Da Ra Bendre came out this words. Here you have Mother who has lost her baby+Dad who is pained so much he is on the verge of collapsing himself, but has to console the wife..putting up a brave face. In anyways kids are the most important things for any parents, but as we grow up we fail to understand that go rebellious against them and cause them pain.
