Great guide! I love Walmart for hair products. Btw, the NYM hard hold gel is an Ulta exclusive. The foam has zero hold but works really well as a styler under a gel. Really great clumping and moisture. The instant freeze mousse really has a strong hold but doesn't weigh down my hair, great for refreshes too.

Not your mothers curl talk hard hold gel is so great for longer hold and for humid environments. I get day 3 curls even on day 8. I just refresh it every morning by just spaying water with a mist spray bottle 9:37

The best detangling spray I found really it's a leave-in conditioner but it's a great detangler is "Not Your Mother's" Naturals line "Royal Honey & Kalahari Desert Melon." I've only seen it once in Walmart Denver and I never saw it again but I wish they would put this back on the shelf! I have coily hair which is a small spiral curls and this spray is very moisturizing it makes my hair so soft I wish I could find it again... 😢

Wow this made me so hyped to see the two of you together first of all! I love this video! However...I was curious to know if you had heard about a lot of curly girls cancelling shea moisture because of the new formulations due to new ownership....I was noticing since then my hair had a lot of buildup was dull and dry and breaking off and many others have said the same. This is supposedly because of the amount of oils and waxes and protein they use its coating the hair and not letting moisture in...I have since then gone cold turkey in almost all their products for my 3b-3c curls and I am trying to find alternatives and I am extremely lost 😭

No, definitely keep shampooing your hair at least once a week & clarifying when need be. Build up can cause a lot of scalp issues

Sometimes I hear us black curly hair girls say that certain products are just for us, but realistically, this video shows that any ethnicity can use it different types of products if they have a certain hair type. Just like my mom and I use haircare lines like Nexxus and Paul Mitchell shampoos and conditioners which were not necessarily marketed to black women.
