What if your verse does not appear in Thayer's Greek Lexicon? Do you just use the Strong's definition?

@@jimmyp1870 yes that is a great question, I have come across that several times as well. I basically do use the Strong’s definition, I also will look it up in a regular dictionary to see if there is any fuller understanding that I can pull from the word in the English dictionary. And then of course, using the context around the scripture will be key to ensuring you are pulling the correct meaning. I am definitely no expert but this is how I would normally go about this situation. Hope this helps!
