what about shoulder to fingertips numbness, thought it might have been a pinched nerve but it's been over 2 months. hard to fall asleep with the tingling. Been trying a lacrosse ball on the shoulder blade area with a wall, also tried tunning forks.

I had been having bursitis, tendinitis, Bursa tear( right Shoulder) and serious pain in my right forearm. I have been having Therapy with much improvement but when my first Therapist went on vacation the pain came back worst than before because the new therapist is giving me new stretching/ Strengthening exercises

I am 65 years old, still working, overweight, but carry it well I’m told. Left shoulder has been bothering me for a while, thinking g I may have a pinched nerve. But from watching your videos and from my doc saying google ’shoulder impingement videos’ I came across your videos… SO AWESOME! Something I haven’t noticed in your videos… Can you tell me what strength ’resistance bands’ I should start out with to begin the exercises in your videos? I think they go by “pounds” and I’m sure I should I start with something fairly easy, but I want a band that strengthens as well… right?

Great question. Unfortunately, there is no blanket answer. As the optimal resistance depends on a bunch of different factors - strength, fitness level, type of exercise, stage of rehab, degree of damage to the affected tissue, etc.

If you haven't already, take a look at lifelineusa bands. They start at 10 and range all the way to 90 or 100 depending on length. Either of the lowest level ones 10 or 20 would work. They have a lot of well designed equipment.

I have had a shoulder issue for approximately 10 years. I do not have flexibility currently, I cannot put a bar on my back to do a squat. Diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Constant pain and difficulty putting on a jacket. Thank you for your suggestions. I have tried many therapies, ProLo, Ozone, Acupuncture, massage, Red Light, and many many more with little or no improvement. I will give these exercises a try and keep you posted.

@ I am sure that whatever my issue, it will take 3 to 6 months to notice any change. Very strange this issue came on suddenly and refuses to go away.

What strap are you using on the Move+ to hold it on your shoulder?

That's the Kineon extender strap - great for holding things in place.

Should the resistance band stretches and exercises be done daily? Thanks.
@painfixprotocol3 ай бұрын
The number of times per day will vary from one individual to the next. But I would typically start with with 1x/day and slowly increase to twice or even three times a day - as long as there is functional improvement and no additional soreness/discomfort (from the exercises).

My pain is inside the elbow, thumb side. I always thought it was bicep tendinitis. No discomfort with any of the above exercises, just bicep curls. Any ideas, Dr. Yoni Whitten? Thank you ❣️
@painfixprotocol6 ай бұрын
Hard to say for certain without an exam, Susan. Have you ruled out distal biceps tendinitis and Tennis Elbow?
@susantaylor54756 ай бұрын
@@painfixprotocol thank you for the suggestions, Dr. Yoni Whitten! Pretty much self-diagnosed. I failed to mention that it's on the inside of the arm, not the actual elbow. It's been going on for years but more noticeable as I do more strength training now & bicep curls are almost impossible.

sir whats the reason for pain in front of the shoulder when supinating the hand or arm?
@painfixprotocol3 ай бұрын
There are multiple issues that could contribute to the type of pain you describe. A physical examination would be needed to determine the precise cause.

The most important thing would be to get a thorough assessment from qualified expert in your area to determine the source(s) of the problem. With that you can determine your course of action.

The most important thing is to know what's causing your shoulder issues. With that information you can determine the proper course of action - without it you are forced to guess. Have you had the problem professionally assessed?

I didn’t even know what I have I know I have a pinched nerve on my neck and a rotator cuff on my right shoulder the left one became later. The pain was horrible but I found out how to help open the muscle I bought chinese cups and started to put it on all over not just the shoulder also part of the left back and neck little by little the pain was getting better but I need now to work the pain out of the shoulder. I know my muscles are very tight because I am suffering from chronic dehydration since I had COVID and developed long COVID symptoms I know no one believe me because I drink enough water ever day but for whatever reason my body doesn’t register and doesn’t absorb the water as it should. I have been developing a lot of pain in a different parts of my body so I am doing the best as I can because until today I don’t any help from any kind of physician I am treating myself the best I can from what I learned every day. I like your channel because you speak a lot about pain and this a constant in my life so thank you so much I am very glad I found you
