Hi Guys. When i was selling Cars in West London before i moved back to Ireland, we had a name for those Range Rovers. INSURANCE JOB, lol 😆. I would find someone down the pub to deal with it for me. As long as nothing affects my Dealers Policy, which was in 2017, I know now things have changed big time, but you're such a good car dealer, it's a shame that this piece of Crap can pull you down. Do you know any Apprentice Mechanic, who wants to learn a trade, give it to him and see if he can fix it on his own time. That's the route I would take. Or the Scrapper is the only one that will earn from this piece of Crap. I love you both and hate to see you taking a step backward. So Good Luck. When buying bud, even if it's a quick check at auction, pressurise the brake pedal, it's not always an easy fix these days, usually the abs unit is faulty, even if it's just asking the auction driver as it goes thru, as your going earlier to view see if they give you a key pass on the cars your looking at, 5 mins checking will save you loads of trouble, I used to go to bca and they'd not let you even open the bonnet as they were in line.

Got another Range Rover Evoke advert during the video 🤣🤣 you can get awaiting prep stickers to stick in the window, in case customers turn up and you awaiting parts. Re the polo bud don't put anything up for sale (retail anyway) until it's totally ready, I won't even show people a car in prep as 99 times out of a hundred any least little thing puts them off, I always run a car for a few days after work to make sure, saves all that stress, obviously things do crop up but I like all my ducks in a row before it's up for sale, people like to turn up, buy and go, having said that had a clio last week, ran it for a week, sold it and 5 mins later they were back with light on, coil pac.

Easy way to test if brake switch is a fault, turn car off, turn back on, abs and traction should be off, press brake, if it's switch warning lights will be St back on

@@ValleyAutosBirmingham yup. Been there so many times. A brake light switch is only a switch suppose like a light switch on wall home. Possible best buy 2 cheapies diff eBay sellers. Can see how one may be inop 10% chance. But if bought 2 diff sellers one cheapy work just fine.

Why did you change the brake fluid? A lot of the time if you do a full change you'll have to command the abs pump to pump using a scanner, tbh polo brakes are a nightmare I've changed abs sensors, had trouble with rear shoes as well no adjusting right, unless there brand new.

@@ValleyAutosBirmingham not be fluid bud, check rear shoes for seized adjusters, tbh it's probably the abs pump at fault, I've had that a few times, I'd deffo never fully change brake fluid on a modern car, you can end up in loads of trouble, abs unit is a pump in its self.

Is your range rover losing coolant? Do you have to keep topping it up? I doubt your head gasket has gone

Doesn't loose anything just pressurised header tank

@ValleyAutosBirmingham you probably need a new lid with a new release valve. The release valve is probably goosed. Header tanks do get pressurised it's more prevalent especially on big huge engines like that. That's why they have pressure release on the lids. I wouldn't worry about the sniff test either. Im pretty sure there's nothing wrong with that range rover I'd just use it if it was mine. The v8 diesel is quite a solid engine.

I don't blame you with the range rover after how much time and money spent on it you could of had the head gasket done in the first place it's all your fault again Greg 🤣😂 be careful the gearbox's on a swift are common fault and can be a nightmare to get another one as second hand car dealer on u tube has had a couple and had problems and the Ka's has the same as well mate

Stuff that range rover in the auction, flip that money into another and over a few trades you'll (hopefully) make you money back, RR has had it(for you anyway) get rid and reinvest, unfortunately you'll be blowing on it tho.
