Óbidos - a cidade murada

Óbidos é uma cidade portuguesa com muralhas medievais completamente conservadas. Por isto é um destino de excursões turísticas muito importante na região central portuguesa, a Estremadura. É possível passeiar pelas muralhas, é uma experiência muito particular e inesquecível porque faz falta uma balaustrada. Evidentemente muitos turistas sofrem de vertigem e acrofobia... Na antiga igreja de São Tiago há hoje uma livraria.
Obidos, the walled-in town
Obidos is a Portuguese town with completely preserved medieval walls. That is why it is a very important tourist destination in the central Portuguese region, Estremadura. It is possible to walk on the walls, and this is a very special and unforgettable experience because it lacks a balustrade. Obviously many tourists suffer from vertigo and acrophobia, but nevertheless they circulate there... In the ancient St. James church there is a bookstore today.

Óbidos es una pequeña ciudad portuguesa con murallas medievales completamente conservadas. Por esto es un importante destino de excuriones turísticas en la región central de Portugal, Extremadura. Es posible caminar sobre las murallas que es una experiencia muy particular e inolvidable porque carecen de una balaustrada. Obviamente, muchos turistas padecen de vértigo y acrofobia, pero sin embargo circulan por allí... En la antigua iglesia de Santiago se encuentra una librería hoy.
Óbidos, die ummauerte Stadt
Óbidos ist eine kleine portugiesische Stadt mit vollständig erhaltenen mittelalterlichen Stadtmauern. Aus diesem Grund ist es ein wichtiges Touristenziel in der zentralportugiesischen Region Estremadura. Es ist möglich, auf den Wällen entlangzulaufen, ein ganz besonderes und unvergessliches Erlebnis, denn es mangelt an einem Geländer. Offensichtlich leiden viele Touristen unter Schwindel und Höhenangst, sind aber trotzdem dort unterwegs... In der alten Jakobus-Kirche befindet sich heute eine Buchhandlung.

Obidos est une ville portugaise avec des remparts médiévaux entièrement conservés. C'est pourquoi Obidos est une destination touristique très importante dans la région du centre du Portugal, l'Estremadura. Il est possible de promener sur les remparts, et c'est une expérience très spéciale et inoubliable car il manque une balustrade là. Il est évident que beaucoup de touristes souffrent de vertige et d'acrophobie, mais ils y circulent néanmoins... Dans l'ancienne église Saint-Jacques, il y a une librairie aujourd'hui.

Herzlichen Dank! :-) Ja, es ging einfach nicht, ohne auf der Stadtmauer herumzulaufen. Die Kirche, in der sich nun der Buchladen befindet, ist die ehemalige Jakobuskirche, seine Statue steht jetzt in einer der beiden verbliebenen Kirchen. Die Azulejo-Fliesen haben in Portugal eine lange Tradition, gerade auch an und in Kirchen. Schönes Wochenende!
