Absolutely fantastic to know that your sense of humor is a family trait, this video was the funniest thing I've watched in months. (The straight savagery of Biffa the Younger's response to the comment about thick skin had me cackling.) I would like to petition for the Biffa Family Collab to become a recurring holiday. Perhaps one that lines up with school holidays. Bummer the tsunami didn't work out. Witnessing the Wave getting taken out by a massive (or not-so-massive) wave would have been top tier.
@MMuraseofSandvich2 жыл бұрын
11:10 Okay, so here's something that happened after the 2011 earthquake in Japan. Some communities rather deep inland were devastated by the tsunami because they were right next to a river that wound its way through fairly tall cliffs. The river acted as a funnel for the surge of seawater, and went right up and flooded some of the villages that were further inland than people would typically expect to be affected by storm surge or tsunamis. My mom told me about her hometown, which is on a coast and up a rather steep hill/mountain. When a tsunami struck the area in 1946-ish, the survival rate was surprisingly high because all the residents needed to do was evacuate to the shrine on top of the hill. Sure, a lot of the coastal village was destroyed, but the tsunami rapidly lost energy as it climbed the steep hill.
