Yeah, my densely packed forest industries occasionally call in dozens of fire trucks from surrounding areas to put out the conflagration. But these trucks are relatively nearby and even then it seems a bit iffy sometimes. I'd definitely set up a fire headquarters for something that isolated.

When you've finished with your Forestea Industry, you can make a small local district with residential, small commercial, a couple services, a couple ammenities... It'll look nice. Also, add connected infrastructure for the others to use, like a regional electricity grid, redundancy in the water network, passenger trains from one district to another, etc. It'll be awsome in the end.

Just want to say the trees on either side of the six-lane road, branches looming over the sidewalks with the logs stacked in the yards really reminded me of parts of the Pacific Northwest where I grew up. Logging is huge there and this was a great approximation of a timber zone and logging mill.

Biffa, the water and power connections that City Planner left were in hopes that the developer of the area you chose would connect to the area that Czardus started with. Water and power cannot report for separated systems. The game is designed for it to be interconnected.

When setting up the industry, the winding roads look nice, but they don't make good use of space when placing the various industrial buildings. Plus, your forestry area is rather skinny, meaning you need to use all the space you can get (or expand it by planting more trees).

Oh Biffa, we all make mistakes and miss things, but wow... that was a real doozy! So frustrating watching someone miss something like that for so long, but then the relief when you finally do... it's its own kind of crack, I'm pretty sure. Anyway, great job as always. I'm fascinated that you seem to be going a little bit different strategy in your area, focusing less on building up another residential area/town and instead going hard with the industry. It's making the development of the region a lot more interesting to me. :-)
